very good, not great. foster's market was the first place we headed for lunch when we moved to durham this fall.lovethe market itself and the outdoor dining, charming for sure. ordering food at the counter was hectic to say the least, with all the people and commotion. our food came out wrong and i wasn't surprised. the italian grinder was average, jammin' turkey breast sandwich very good, pimiento dijon pasta salad good, and the black eyed pea sweet potato salad very good. it was strange, though, that everything we ordered seemed on the sweet side; even the grinder could have used some acid. we will definitely return, maybe next time for breakfast or brunch. the pastries looked amazing!
