great pizza - get a specialty pizza and enjoy their unique & delicious combination of flavors. don't go for a 'standard' pizza - you're paying for their creativity and should take advantage.

creative, but missing staples. their gourmet pizzas are unique and creative - and good. but if you want a staple like hawaiian, go elsewhere. they are also expensive and generally packed, so come prepared for a full house.

while not the best pizza i've ever had it was pretty great. the topping combos were unique. i purchased the mothership to go as soon as i got the box i could smell it was going to be delicious.. it was. the atmosphere was very cool very chilled and the waitress was friendly. the price was decent $26 for a large ate it between two people and still had left over.

fun atmosphere. i ordered out from here two days ago; i was pleased with the atmosphere and the service most of all. the hostess was cool and didn't even ask for my receipt when i returned 15 mins. later to pick-up (it's always nice to be remembered)!

the pizza itself (15" garlic/artichoke heart) was good (although i wish there had been more artichoke, and more than one size available!), and i was hoping it would have been closer to $15 (~18.63). i had it twice for dinner and once for breakfast, so i have to admit was nice on the taste buds!

all in all, i would return simply because of the service and the convenient location, but would recommend everyone try it at least once :)

guided by (pizza) voices. the first time i went to flying squirrel, one of their special pizzas of the day was named after a guided by voices song - i knew right then and there that i was in the right place.

amazing pizza. great beer on tap (lucile ipa!). molly malone's ice cream available. local. local. local. great staff.

what's the catch? screaming children. lots of them. strollers up to your ankles. if you want to witness anal expulsive parental techniques in action, go get a pitcher of beer and camp out here for an hour or so.

nice & tasty. just tried flying squirrel for the first time last night with a few girlfriends - we all loved it. the staff are super helpful and friendly and the food is fantastic! we started with a beet salad, yum, and then had the fig pizza (maybe it was a special) and a prosciutto pizza (#4). all were great!! nice beers and wines, great atmosphere, easy parking - we'll be back!

although they couldn't accommodate max's desire for a strawberry lemonade, the great folks at flying squirrel did make him a special cheese bread with pepperoni - and treated us just as warmly as they always do.

i finally made it to the much loved flying squirrel pizza down here in lakewood (also often identified as mt. baker, columbia city, or seward park), and i am pleased to say that i finally agree with some pizza hype.

great food, ok prices, better off to go. the pizza is really good, if a tad on the expensive side for what you are getting. they also carry molly moon's ice cream which is locally made and fabulous.

my husband and i frequently get orders to go, the staff is always really friendly and efficient.

we've dined in a couple times and i concur with other reviewers, the music there can be annoyingly loud. i think they are maybe going for edgy here and they're busy so i guess it's working but i prefer to just get it to go.

in seattle there has been a lot of hype about pizza places the last several years, and portland also has absolutely excellent options in apizza scholls and ken’s artisan pizza. while we feel that many of these offerings are quite delicious, they all seem

eartha kitt with a glass of black fox cider!. yeah!!! a pizza place in south seattle besides the beloved (one my favorites) tutta bella! plus it's so close to home.
the folks that opened this place knew they needed to fill a niche and they did. flying squirrel pizza is not like other pizza places its "mixed" music cassette tapes playing in the background with a dose of sophistication and a great open to all atmosphere.

favorite pizza - eartha kitt
favorite beverage: black fox cider

we recently moved to the 'hood and this was one of our first finds! pizza is awesome, great staff very friendly and helpful, great interesting pizza combos or make your own. sure they don't have hawaiin pizza but really as far as i am concerned pineapple shouldn't be on a pizza! and don't forget the salted caramel ice cream,

a reminder that as a native new yorker, i’m partial to that style of pizza. the kind with air bubbles that you admire. the kind that you fold and then hold above two paper plates, allowing some oil to run off before taking your first bite. the kind with t
