first chinese bbq

please check your food before eating! they will serve rancid ingredients without any regard for their guest's health or wellbeing. i completely understand the motivation for trying to turn a profit in every way possible. however, please have just a little bit of heart to care about the experience of people trying to enjoy a good meal. even though the service leave a lot to be desired, i have returned to this restaurant time and time again for the food. as a long time patron, i have noticed the quality of food declining over time to the point of serving spoiled food. please change your business practices before someone is seriously hurt. thanks...

wasnt really sure about this place but decided to give it s shot. so glad i did. i only split my meal with a friend, and the crispy noodles with chicken was out of this world good! i'll be back. i keep thinking about bow yummy it was, and can't wait to bring hubby. definitely a hidden gem.

best place to get roast duck. only place i go to to get a plate of roast duck and at about 8 bucks for a lunch plate it's a good portion for price. service is fast. i've tried the duck noodle soup and that was good too but like i said i am there for one thing only and that one thing is the best. i think my average wait time from walking in and getting seated to getting my drink and plate is 10 minutes at most. they don't have many appetizers but really you don't even wait that long but i guess it's worth pointing out. the staff is not rude, but they are efficient and fast. don't expect a smile and a conversation . i don't mind though because they usually only have one guy running the area so for how fast he's doing and what he's doing its good. you will have to remind them of refills for your beverage and it is a cash only place.

if you call in a order and your dialect is of a black sounding nature they will not cook it till you get there!!. i had been going here for years. new guy at register would not take my call in saying sometimes order would not get picked up. when i went to restaurant to see what the deal was i was told he thought i was black and would not take my order to go thinking i would not pick it up..

won't be going back i guess.

excellent duck.. my wife and i stopped here while sightseeing in dfw. i ordered a soup with vegi, tofu, & pork. then the sesame chicken. my wife ordered the b-b-que pork and duck. but they were all out of the pork. the servings are huge, we took home leftovers. the place was quite busy and they only had the one poor server running around. the prices were great as was the quality of the food. the sad thing. it was our third choice. which might have been a good thing! :)

first chinese bbq, fort worth area. i have been eating chinese food for 70 years, in los angeles, chicago, dallas, fort worth, etc. this is an absolutely top quality restaurant.

love this place. just go and order your food and enjoy! don't worry about the wait staff, just how good the food is. my favorites are the roast duck, shrimp and pork wonton noodle soup with duck. the chinese broccoli with oyster sauce is good to. i always over eat here so i'm glad i'm not able to visit this place to often. if you are a true lover of asian food then this place will not disappoint you, i promise.

years of great food. my family started going there about 25 yrs ago. then there were only asian customers. now there are many types of people. i love how they love my children now my grandchildren, we order pretty much the same thing and have our favorite waiters many have left and gone back over sea. don't get upset if waiters or short or seemly not personal. most don't speak english and have lots of people and orders to work out. we love the fountain cokes and even stop for cokes to go. love the 402 one the menu and the bar b que pork, hot and sour soup, the wonton soup, the sesame chicken and snow peas with garlic salt in season. we love the chinese broculli, the salt chicken is to die for. and my hubby and i have gone in and shared a table with three other couples when the place is busy. it is cash only so don't forget or you will have to leave your family and run to an atm like we have done several time! years ago number 402 was 41 on the menu and we would use our beepers to contact everyone to go there for dinner by beeping 41. they don't mind babies learning to eat. and have come by our table to play with babies and feed them. great place...no dress code...get there by 8:30 or possibly no service!! see you there!!

favorite chinese food in arl.. excellent authentic cantonese style cuisine at very good prices (no idea what the person who is claiming $15 person, unless they're ordering duck or sea bass. or ordering some for the next day, which isn't the worst idea in the world). great soft noodles, esp. prefer with the bbq pork. go adventurous and order something off the chef's special page.

it is funny this is under bbq and not chinese food.

great chinese food at great prices. but beware this is probably the most authentic chinese restaurant in warrant county where english is not fluently spoken. also, service will seem very rude to you if you are not accustomed to the no-nonsense service. pleasantries are nonexistent.

don't let that deter you. the food is incredible. try the shrimp wonton soup and the pork lo mein.

only authetic cantonese restaurant in the metroplex. great food!

horrible service. seems like every time i come here there is a flaw in my dining experience. today we waited more than half an hour to place our orders. the food was alright and how fast it came out made up for our delay in ordering i guess. rude waiters made my mood sour through the whole time i was there though.

good asian food!!!!. having lived in houston, where delicious chinese and other asian food is ubiquitous, and moving to dallas where you can only get it in richardson/plano......i find myself now living in fort worth.... i was so happy to have found this place right outside of fort worth. always good food to hit the spot!!!!!

i had the special fried rice & thought it was ok at best. my wife had some sort of a chopped steak dish & we thought hers was pretty good. with that being said, the restaurant was pretty full.
