the ambiance was all good
nice place to hangout
and service was not upto the mark
they charged 10% service charge which was not removed after we asked them to do so .

just okay for us. we are visiting pcb from ohio and chose firefly for our anniversary dinner based on reviews. with the exception of meals we've had in destin and seaside, the food we've had down here has been less than spectacular. firefly is no exception. the pear martini had very little flavor. i had the grouper dish that was served as part of the olympics and it was just okay but certainly nothing to write home about. my husband had the she crab soup and that was the best dish of the dinner.

firefly was perfect for a date night out! it was expensive, and soups and salads are extra, but every thing we put in our mouths was beyond excellent! the bread with 3 different spreads and the soup sampler (must get!) we're perfect...my husband got the boar and i the stuffed filet, neither of us had a crumb left on our plates! we had the seasonal bread pudding and chocolate bombe for dessert...both amazing! definitely odd location...but once you get inside you don't even notice! go ready to spend some $, but also get one of the best meals you can get anywhere!

there is nothing not excellent about firefly! start with the she crap soup. it is absolutely the best soup i have ever had! even better than the she crab soup i had in santa monica. the crab cakes are excellent as is the grouper. the atmosphere is magical. the staff is superb. we had our daughter's 13th birthday party there. chris our waiter was so patient with the girls! every time we go to firefly we leave full and relaxed!!

best food in pc. this was our second trip to firefly...have to agree with most reviews....amazing! service as great, but the food was excellent..i had the sauteed grouper, hubby had the stuffed filet...we both had salads, me the butter lettuce / butter pecan vinegarette, hubby had the wedge. the portions were large, we could have easily shared one entree although i would not have wanted to decide which one, they were both so good. we had a cocktail each, both very good , and a glass of wine, a house pinot noir and it was very good also. so what if it's in a deserted stip mall? just go in and be amazed!

best dining. i do not know where to begin with firefly... my husband and i went there for a nice dinner during our honeymoon (april 2010) and it was the best dining experience we have ever had. from the waiter lance, to the desert we can't begin to explain how great everything was! we started with an order of edamame, then i had one roll of sushi (rainbow roll) and the minute you put it in your mouth it melts! my husband had the she crab soup to begin and it was so rich and full of flavor. then for our entrees i had the italian sausage pasta which was seasoned very well and he had the carpet bagger which is steak stuffed with crab meat and sauce. the flavor of everything was the best we ever had. then dessert we had the cheesecake and the chocolate rum cake and each was great but the cheesecake was the best! the wines were excellent also. for all of this and the bottle of wine we bought the price was very very reasonable and next time we travel to florida, even if we don't stay in panama i will drive the extra to eat here at firefly!!!

try the sushi!. i'm a frequent diner at firefly and have never been disappointed! i usually venture to firefly when i am feeling especially in the mood for good sushi. i usually sit in the bar area and always experience quick, courteous service. the "3 crab roll, "devil's advocate", and "rude roll" are my favorites. it is always fresh-tasting, inventive, and delicious!

on monday through thursday from 5-7 they have a great buy-one-get-one-half sushi special, along with great drink specials.

if you find firefly to be a bit too pricey as far as dinner is concerned, try a sushi date in the bar area. you don't be disappointed!

elegant yet casual, and delicious!. the atmosphere is perfect for either blue jeans or heels & pearls. it's casual, but if you want to go out dressed up, firefly is your place. perfect for a romantic date! the food is to-die-for. baked brie appetizer was delicious but not spectacular. the caesar and butter-lettuce salads were spectacular. warning- the caesar is a little fishy, but not overwhelming, for those who like anchovy in their caesar. the stuffed filet is the best steak i've ever eaten, and even medium-well, was still as tender as cake. even the potato hash side was so delicious that it competed with the steak. desserts are equally amazing. the vanilla-bean creme brulee and chocolate bread pudding were rich, decadent, and absolutely perfect. service is polished and professional, as you would expect from a 5-star restaurant, but still friendly and not at all stuffy. i most highly recommend firefly, and i didn't even see obama's picture on the wall. if i had, the wonderful dining experience would have quickly made me forget! it's not cheap, but less expensive than some other "fine dining" restaurants of lower quality. a full meal of appetizer, salad/soup, entree, desert, and wine will run about $60-$75 per person. well worth the price!

awesome waitress. very knowledgeable about the menu. she crab soup was excellent. land and sea was very tasty and the peppered tuna was a wonderful selection. will be coming back to this restaurant.

best place for the hanging,they are serving best variety of the cocktail and food , decent crowd..

this is our 2nd time to eat here and we loved it again. we got there early for the sunset special and it was certainly special! it was tues so i got a tues tini, a dirty martini, one of the best i have ever had! afterwards i had the she crab soup (excellent) and tuna cooked to perfection. hubby had crab cakes that were scrumptious. unfortunately no room for dessert. if u r looking for a really special place in pcb this is it.

excellent in all aspects. the black pepper crusted tuna appetizer and creme brûlée for desert were the highlights for us.

this is one of those places you can't judge by the looks of the outside. the service was top-notch the food was outstanding the steak was cooked perfectly the she crab soup was amazing.

so-so ... slow service. i had this on my wishlist for my pcb vacation, but we didn't make it by, and i'm glad we didn't. spoke to another couple that did go, and they said that the food was good, but not worth the price. they also said the service was very slow, and it wasn't even peak season. i recommend saltwater grill if you're looking for a nicer / non-beachy atmosphere. everything was great there, and their happy hour martinis are off the chain.

sheeeeeeee crabbb!. great atmosphere and excellent food. i must admit, we usually go and get a bowl of she crab and sit at the bar. on occasions when we have dined for an entire meal, it was very delicious and enjoyable. service is excellent as well as presentation. the only dish that i was not crazy about was the lamb chops, had a very gamey taste. everything else.....very nice.
