fire & oak has become our go to weekend brunch spot. for $10, you get unlimited beverages while you dine... john ordered the bananas foster french toast ($11.95), which obviously included french toast, along with caramelized bananas, sweet brown sugar rum sauce, toasted walnuts, and an obscene amount of whipped cream. what a beauty!... i ordered the mushroom florentine omelet ($12.95). the omelet was filled with wild mushrooms, fresh herbs, and monterey jack cheese. it was topped with a creamy spinach with a hint of garlic. home fries on the side, which are by the way, perfectly prepared. as if all that isn’t enough, there’s toast with gigantic slabs of butter.
