exactly what we were in the mood for. we went for dinner on a saturday evening at 8 before a show and thisplacefit the bill. some inexpensive wine choices, fantastic salads: blood orange salad with chicken (and you really get a ton of great tasting chicken for $4) and lettuce wedge salad...both great. soup of the day was tomato basil and was one of the best i've had. tried both of the daily entree specials, asparagus risotto and veggie lasagna. both had huge flavor, balanced and hearty but not too heavy. friend got stuffed chicken and potatoes, which was surprisingly light and delicate for such a dish but i was loving it. a great balanced restaurant, top notch food but not too expensive, great service, and amazing atmosphere with a french/spanish flair.
