simple but beautiful and classic interior on the first floor. have only been here once and would be willing to come back for more of their tuscany-inspired food.
wanting to try something different, i ordered the cinghiale o cervopasta(venison or boar with a mushroom + tomato + wine sauce). i was hoping the meat would be venison, but pretty sure i got the boar. the diced chunks of meat were a bit tough and dry for my liking, and while the sauce was flavourful it wasn't anything special or memorable. but portion wise, i got the large size and was stuffed by the end of it 👌🏼
my friend's verdépasta(basil, spinach, cream, pine nuts) looked amazing – and she said it tasted great too. the regular portion was actually quite filling for her.
service was good – but not outstanding.
their general policy is to only offer up the regularpastasauces with either penne or spaghetti, but we found out that they can serve farfalle (butterfly / ribbon bow)pastatoo. for some reason, they only serve fettuccine in gluten free form, so it costs extra if you request it.
