pure food art.. the food is flawless. the wine is well chosen. the dim, cosy and intimate space makes you look out at all the passers by, wondering if they can see you and silently sniggering at what they are missing out on.
the staff and chef's are friendly and informative. it's great to see them abuzz in the kitchen, cooking up pieces of art and having them presented to you proudly!
highlights: "ashed" goats cheese (ground poppy seeds to mimick ash), chickpea chips, smoked eel and truffle & artichoke soup!
also, they made up a fantastic violet gin drink - ask for it!
try the degustation - always a winner. this place never fails me.
