not bad, nothing great. eh. there's a lot of hype about elmo's, and i'm not sure i understand it. the food is generally good, sometimes bland, once in a while great, and overall not too imaginative.serviceis hit or miss, but usually pretty good, when they're not packed.
has more of a family restaurant feel than one of an old style diner -- which is, in part, why i really don't understand the comment of a poster below about how dirty it is. (it's not. it's generally the opposite of "greasy spoon.")
maybe i just can't get past the fact that it's a breakfast place that doesn't serve hashbrowns.
