elixir coffee hq

another amazing breakfast at elixir. we went there on a saturday morning with a group of about 15 (it's best if you book regardless of how many people). there was a bit of a line up before we went to order, but when we did order the drinks and food where served surprisingly quick, especially with how busy thecafewas. over all it was a lovely morning and as per usually the coffee and food was 5 star. service was lovely and the environment of thecafeis very quirky.

located in industrial estate of stafford, thiscafeand roastery has plenty of tables. parking can be difficult. range of food options was good and sufficiently tasty although the kitchen seems to overcook. also they made some mistakes with my order. could be 4+ stars with a little more effort.

as a lover of elixir coffee and having heard theircafeis great for breakfast from a foodie-snob friend, i was definitely keen to check it out. we came mid-week and i'm glad we did cause parking is a massive pain so i can only imagine how hard it must be on the weekend.

my mum chose the french toast and not only was it absolutely beautiful to look at, it tasted amazing. such a great flavour combination, not too sweet and just delicious. dish of the day i think. my sister enjoyed the posh banana bread, and my other sister really liked her fritters. both were delicious and packed full of flavour. i had the breaky board - a half serve of smashed avocado on toast and a yogurt nutty granola bowl. i loved that it was like two breakfasts in one and gave me both sweet and savoury on one plate. the nutty granola topping was seriously delicious.

we also had a few juices, all fresh and tasty, and of course the coffee was as excellent as you'd expect from these guys. service was fine, ambience is a little lacking and parking sucks but all this is forgiven for delicious, different menu items and fantastic coffee.

i love this place, the food and coffee are always great. the only reason i don't give them 5/5 is that they're not open on sundays, i realise thecafeisn't their core business, but it's such a disappointment to wake up fanging for one of their breaky's only so realise you can't get one!

very impressed. outstanding service. good to find a café that is clean, efficient, friendly, and puts thought into preparation of food and drinks. the green sencha tea was a fantastic quality, and presented really well, on a wooden board, with the tea bag on the side in a container, not leaving one wondering where to put your used tea bag. i'll visit again, and again, and again ....

access review: this establishment is not very wheelchair accessible. there is no disabled parking. there is no disabled toilet. there is a bit of a lip at the front door to negotiate in a wheelchair, however it is easier to enter via the roasting room dining area. tight to negotiate from roasting room tocaferoom through quick dog-leg right left door entrance/exit.

i have been to thiscafesix times and each time the experience is good. the meals are simple yet tasty, a good size and reasonably priced.
the coffee is always well made and different blends are on offer.
thecafeis nice and clean, the staff friendly.
keep up the good work!
oh and my friends love this place too!

love it. this is anothercafethat we use for time out. alway friendly service and good food love the coffee. all round great value for the money.

the best!. i love my coffee and have tried many cafes across brisbane and there are certainly some good ones. however, i have to say that every single time i visit elixir i am blown away by the friendly efficient service delivered by every staff member even when it is frantically busy and the absolutely outstanding coffee. some inner citycafestaff with their too cool for school attitudes should visit and learn how it should be done. well done guys - just awesome!

parking during the week can be a hassel as it is located in a busy semi industrial near the back entry to the stafford city shopping centre. well worth the effort if you can find a park.

this is a very busycafewith people streaming in all day but dont be put off by the crowds, coffee and food orders are delivered quickly. the service is consistantly friendly, knowledgable and genuine.

the coffee quality is definately a highlight - especially if you like ristrettos, short blacks etc

food iscafestyle, lovely and fresh.

it is really lovely to have a local coffee shop that serves really great coffee, all the time!

great place to eat. the elixir coffee is a great place to go and have a coffee and tea in a pot and lattile and cold drinks and its a great place to meet friends and have a chat and sit in nice chairs and the new kitchen looks nice and clean and the food what comes out of the kitchen look great and nice to eat and they have great menu and cakes and biscuits and you can buy everything for your coffee machine and you can buy a coffee machine and coffee beans also and thecafeopens 6 days aweek and on a saturday it great to see thecafepack and making money and the services is great and fast and quick and the tables are very clean and you can see the floors shining and clean and the ecoffee card is great for ipond phones to.

re great place to eat. 1.great place to eat and drink coffee and i give it 10/10

excellent coffee served with a smile. i came here for a lazy late breakfast on a weekday when my power needed to but shut off for an hour. elixir had been recommended to me by some coffee addict friends and i am so glad i finally tried it! my mug of veluto cappuccino was only $4 and my ham and cheese croissant set me back $6.50, so prices are very reasonable. the food is fairly standardcafefair but the coffee was just lovely. the milk was silky smooth the way it should be and the flavour very balanced.
i'll be back for more and how convenient that it's on my way to work and they do quick takeaways (i watched dozens of people come and go as i relaxed under the umbrella outside).

at last a business with genuine service. at last there is a place that has decent customer service and values their customers. the coffee and food is terrific too, i bought some ground coffee for work as well.
i must admit i went there for the first time today on a friends recommendation i entered via the garage door and thought this was it but soon realized if i had walked a little further there is a main entrance to the actualcafeand wow what atmosphere, very busy and extremely friendly staff. north sides best kept secret. elixir keep up the great work, i will be back and i will introduce your business to lots of different friends. to people visiting it for the first time don't be put off by the outside surroundings as it is set in an industrial estate at stafford.

heaven in a cup. it has taken me months to finally get to elixir, and i finally got around to it.

what grabbed me on entry was the happy greeting from one and all. upon entry, the industrial facade melts away into the delightful littlecafethat this is.

stunning coffees that are accompanied by tasting notes, baristas that can stretch milk into a silky velvet-like feel and food that comes out quickly and tasty and the food is typicalcafefare, but never pretending to be anything other than good wholesome tucker.

this now a favourite haunt, and well worth the trip, even for those living a little away from this joyous little grotto of caffeine heaven.

as one leaves, the staff bid you farewell. the entire experience is a truly excellent example of customoer service.

the only downside of this location is the challenge that finding a park can present as it is an industrial area with a lot of business. still, the rewards are worth the effort.
