service above and beyond. we dined at elixir with a companion who has a long list of food intolerances. she ordered a seemingly 'safe' meal but asked the server to double-check that it contained no problem foods. within minutes the chef came out to our table to personally apologise that the dish was unsuitable. he offered to make up a dish from scratch to make sure it would be suitable. he took great pains to establish what foods are and aren't ok, and also checked that she would actually enjoy the dish. our companion understands her intolerances are difficult to accommodate, and doesn't expect restaurants to be able to cater for them. this level of service was outstanding and most welcome. we were already big fans of elixir but this was just awesome, thank you.

very impressed. outstanding service. good to find a café that is clean, efficient, friendly, and puts thought into preparation of food and drinks. the green sencha tea was a fantastic quality, and presented really well, on a wooden board, with the tea bag on the side in a container, not leaving one wondering where to put your used tea bag. i'll visit again, and again, and again ....

even when crazy busy, the staff were friendly and fun. great place with reasonably priced food. staff were wonderful- even when we had a large group and the person in charge had forgot to make a booking. get in early on the weekend because this place is popular!

we've been regulars here for a while now and we're very pleased with the new menu. old menu was good but it was time for a refresh. happy to report the new menu kicks ass. smashed avocado is a winner (especially with a side of hollandaise) and the breakfast burrito was the best breakfast burrito my partner had ever had! coffee is amazing as always (fratelli blend - the brothers blend).

access review: this establishment is not very wheelchair accessible. there is no disabled parking. there is no disabled toilet. there is a bit of a lip at the front door to negotiate in a wheelchair, however it is easier to enter via the roasting room dining area. tight to negotiate from roasting room to cafe room through quick dog-leg right left door entrance/exit.

went here on saturday for all day brekky with 3 friends. we all loved it. once again, great food, coffee and service. love the consistency.

consistently good! i have.... consistently good!

i have been to this cafe six times and each time the experience is good. the meals are simple yet tasty, a good size and reasonably priced.
the coffee is always well made and different blends are on offer.
the cafe is nice and clean, the staff friendly.
keep up the good work!
oh and my friends love this place too!

coffee is the shtick. the coffee is their shtick. i visited on a weekday morning. it’s an unflashy conversion in a light industrial area. parking difficult. music fairly modern but inoffensive. service quick (once i found the counter). cakes are from a factory. there was a choice of two have-in coffee beans – a blend and a single-source. i went for the single source. my normal is a long black hmos. it was good enough to drink black, which i rarely do.

best coffee. if i could only eat in one place for the rest of my life i would probably choose here

coffee was nice. i has the salmon rosti which was ok but let drown by the rosti. not the freshest , very under seasoned and a dark brown, it looked like a hamburger patti.

ah the perfect cuppa every time. the most amazing atmostphere , coffee and food. i wish i lived closer . would be there every day.. great to see locals giving it ago and roasting brisbane the best coffee ever. keep brewing boys

average. very average. went there specifically because of all the good reviews and it was just plain average. just because they provide tasting notes with a coffee doesn't mean it's good coffee...! there are soooo many decent places to get exceptional coffee in brisbane, this certainly doesn't compete. the food was ok and reasonably priced but i don't understand all the rave reviews.
