in the mood for mexican?. i've been in the tacoma area for 6 years, and of all the mexican venues i've been, el toro of parkland is my numero uno. sure, i may have missed a few hole in the wall places, but this one's the best so far. my wife and i have tried new places, only to be disappointed next to the quality here. their tortilla chips are always hot, fresh, and genuine, and are served with some dynamite salsas (red or green, which i prefer). if you like their chips and salsa enough, you can even purchase them separately. their entrees are phenomenal, with everything from your everyday burrito to my favorite, the carne asada. the restaurant of course comes equipped with a full bar, serving whatever alcoholic beverage you may desire. the serving staff are polite and helpful. the atmosphere is similar to most other mexican restaurants, but it doesn't detract from it'sgoodfood andgoodservice. a sure win!
