pretty standard familymexicanrestaurant... wish they would have a black bean option instead of just whole or refried pinto.  however, they have excellent carne asada and make really great drinks.

the go - to place formexicanin cheney. order a to-go box in advance - chances are you'll need it.
the portions are big, and so is the flavor. the complimentary salsa is homemade, and the chips are warm. el rodeo is ourmexicanrestaurant of choice in cheney.

you had me at el grande margarita..... friendly place w/ good service. chips and salsa were sensational. haven't been to amexicanrestaurant yet where the chips and salsa didn't indicate how the food would be. ...so can't wait to go back and sample the menu! we actually made the trip to cheney specifically for the margaritas....in particular, their huge served-in-a-fish-bowl-sized-glass margarita...which was incredible! first impressions are key...and el rodeo definitely made a good one with us.

sauce out of a jar.. typically dreadful so-calledmexicanfood. i ordered chicken mole, and their sauce was out of a jar. feh.
