great little place. pros:
- great atmosphere. felt comfortable.
- good food, most of it authentic.
- very friendly waitress.
- one block from the columbia heights metro.
- still relatively unknown. a very comfortable place to hang out and talk. you will have no problems finding a seat.
cons:
- they ran out of tamales when i was there. since i was the only one in the restaurant, i have to assume that they just didn't make them that day.
- i was saddened that after feeling so at home, they had tex-mex in the menu. i understand the reasons why, but it broke thespellthis place had over me.
