bar staff super friendly on arrival and even got my drink in the middle of making a big order of cocktails. food is fantastically priced and taco had the perfect amount of zing. wait staff were polite, fast and efficient and food was on the table within 10 minutes of ordering. i'll be back tomorrow night!

i tried to book a table for a group of us for my birthday today and the person who answered my call was very rude, arrogant and dismissive. i could not get a straight answer from him so i sent a text to clarify my booking and the response was a straight out no, as you can see in the attached photo. i have never had such bad customer service anywhere before and i won't be visiting you simply for this reason.

yummy mexican food, price is pretty cheap considering it's a trendy bar. i think they do pretty damn delicious tacos.

can be busy even on a weekday. be prepared to wait at the bar to order your food and drinks. i kinda wish they do table service for the dining tables.

for what is known more as a bar for younger northern locals to flock to on weekend nights, this place has surprisingly high quality but affordable meals. roll that in with some of the best spritz varieties i’ve ever come across and you’ve actually got yourself the best mexican restaurant / bar north of the river.

i came here with friends for a few drinks on a saturday late evening. the bar has good atmosphere and cool wooden decor. the cocktails in particular the mandarin sour was delicious!

came here with my bestie for lunch on a quiet saturday. the food was delicious, well priced, the service was attentive, polite and efficient. if you’re looking for la cholita/el publico style food but for half the price this is the place to be. i would definitely recommend trying the chorizo nachos and salsa board.

came here on a tuesday night, got a table no worries. we ordered the salsa board, chicken tostada & nachos all delicious & generous sizing. the food came quickly which we were after on a week night - pricing is super reasonable especially for the generous sizing. the staff was very helpful & very knowledgeable about the beer being served. look forward to coming back soon

great place but the staff are beyond awful. its happened a couple of times now and the first few times i brushed it off but on visiting a few weeks back and queuing for a drink for 20 mins i got served by some young guy with a mustache and a baseball cap on and suddenly my mate who is stood next to me changes his mind on what drink he wanted so i said to the guy one second mate and he walks of and serves someone else and glares back at me, he then comes over and says don't waste my time i wont waste yours... i was absolutely furious. customer services?????? if i owned a place like this i would sack that cretin for being rude! go make $15 an hour somewhere else where customer service isn't a requirement - jerk!

great beer, friendly staff, $10 tommys margaritas every now and then, love it. wouldn't recommend it on a sunday unless you are young and fun and not old and bitter like me because i cbf dealing with mosh pits, but during the week it's boss for sure

i came here on a friday. grabbed a guacamole and chips $5, for such a generous serving and scrumptiousness it was a steal! $10 margaritas on friday was awesome. they were good cocktails, balanced well. we got complimentary popcorn with an avocado/chilli oil which was delicious (it may have been coz of the 15min wait for food, we didn't mind anyway). had some tacos octopus and fish, quite good, balanced well with the cabbage/salad and sauce. it was the right balance not to overpower the taste of the seafood. service wise it was great! the two girls were really attentive and friendly. i saw a negative review earlier and i think i know exactly the server he was talking about. there was a male bartender who cbf was written all over his face and the way dismissively dealt with us, if you don't wanna deal with people get another job. apart from him (who we avoided ordering from afterwards) the service was superb. cool vibe, beautiful sunset, good cocktails, delicious food. try it!!!

its a really good independent bar with a hot vibe! they have a good selection of craft beers and a decent wine list. it would be rude to go here and not try the tequila - there is an amazing selection and its served with a spicy chaser that really compliments the flavour

an absolute shit hole! if you want to know when it was, it was thursday the 22nd of december. if you wanna know who so you can set this person free from the hospitality industry to pursue a far more appropriate line of work in cleaning up horse manure he is the long haired douchebag with the skinny hips working the side of the bar closest to the kitchen. this guy has a genius knack for ignoring customers standing at the bar (with money in their hand, waving at him) while he serves everyone around them including anyone who wanders up to the bar and hasn't been waiting as long, then he crosses to the other part of the bar where there are more barstaff working and i still can't get two beers. i like the way his hair is not tied up either because you want hair in your cocktails. this guy sucks and needs to pay attention to his customers and serve people based on when they come to the bar not how they look. but wait, there's more. aggressive and over inebriated patrons? check! a vomit in one of the urinals? check! benches right in the middle of the dance floor so you can't watch the band? check! a soundtrack (including 'stuck in the middle with you' and 'blister in the sun') so you feel like you're at backpackers night at the hip e club? double check! this place has it all! i wish there was a negative stars option because you guys have clearly outdone yourselves. what a joke!
