el gaucho inca

we decided to go and eat with our family to celebrate a huge milestone and were told that this was a good restaurant and the food was good also. well we never got a chance to even eat. we made a call earlier and mentioned we were coming with 15 people and because we could not make reservations we had to show up and wait. we showed up around 6 and came with a few extra people but the hostess seemed annoyed at first and stated that we had to wait for another table to clear up. well we waited two hours and then they let a large group take the table we were waiting for and then another large group came in and were seated. we never got our table and we were treated as if we didnt matter. very rude and unacceptable customer service. they could have communicated with us but were annoyed that we kept asking if they were ready for us. they lost our business for good. i gave one star because i cant post with no stars. they dont even deserve a star.

just so whoever reads this, this is not spam. we live local and wanted to try the restaurant but they need to do better with their front people because how they treated us was horrible.

so yummy!. i can't not rave about this new hidden gem enough... we found this tucked away joint following a newspaper article on it. they just need a sign near the street as we passed it twice looking for it.

first i will start with the staff... super friendly and knowledgeable. our waiter knew every dish and wine inside and out. we ordered all versions of the ceviche which were out of this world. the wine was excellent that was recommended. in particular i ordered the rice dish... it was a basic stir fry but got the hot sauce on the side and it made my dish pop!

i was a little disappointed as the two desserts i eyed down were not available but maybe they will be next time.

oh before i forget... don't hesitate in ordering additional bread.. the huacatay sauce it comes will blow your mind...

i can't wait to come to fort meyers again in hopes of a second visit!

ceviche is a must!. i had mixed ceviche. it was really tasteful and had lot of seafood. it was worth the price. i had the chocolate cake, but i did not like it. the argentinian ice cream is delicious! i will definitely come back to try different dishes!

authentic, expertly seasoned food. friendly service. nice decor.

absolute gem!. we went for dinner on a recommendation from a friend and it was well worth it. warm atmosphere with unique paintings and artefacts on the walls. service was friendly and fast. as for the food, delicious! typical meals from argentina and peru - great size portions for a good price.

i would recommend to anyone.

we had our rehearsal dinner there over memorial day weekend. the owners prepared a delicious buffet of peruvian dishes- and the ceviche was the clear family favorite.

delicious!. i love this place! the food is so good and home-made! the service is also excellent, our waiter was very attentive. i love the empanadas al gaucho, and the lomo saltadooooo! and the argentinian ice creams are delicious!

latin food fan. great food, nice atmosphere. i would definitely recommend this place. only gripe is we felt a little like second class citizens. as non-latino we were the only table that didn't get flowers or have our candle lit this mother's day. perhaps this was an oversight but we definitely felt less welcome. too bad because the food was awesome...we will come back and hopefully will be be treated better. very hard too find if you don't know it's there.

wonderful lunch. we had an amazing lunch (one of their last days in the old building prior to the move into the new place). just be prepared to spend time reading the menu. so many choices!

fantastic. this is one of the best restuarants in fort myers. the service is prompt, the food is unparalleled and the prices are very reasonable.

the best restaurant of sw florida. this restaurant is incredible, the food is amazin, try the ceviche and pescado a lo macho, everything was deliciousus, our party of 19 couldn't believe that everything was perfect, highly recommend this little gem of fort myers

hidden strip mall gem. authentic argentinian and peruvian cuisine. not top shelf quality steaks, but authentic, delicious preparation. waitstaff a little strange, tbh but get the job done. everything there is delicious.

we went and enjoyed a really stand out dinner here. honestly the mussel appetizers were some of the best i have ever had. the place really is well put together even if in a strip mall. food overall was excellent and service was polite and professional. i was skeptical about the high marks and i am sure with multiple visits they could possibly earn the 5.
