you need to know what to order. we went on 25 cent wings day and the wings were fantastic, more than worth the price. we also got a goat cheese and beet salad that was delicious. we saw another table order burgers and they looked good. the burgers lookgoodfrom the outside, and the bread and toppings are great, but the patties were bizarre. they were spongy and vaguely meatloaf-like in texture, without a lot of beef flavour.

atmosphere was great for what we wanted: watching playoff hockey. definitely loud but sometimes loud is just great. :)

i admit a certain fascination with the all items $5.95 concept, being more than a bit of a cheap ass. we were seated inside which was preferable to out in the sun as far as we were concerned (i was getting burned a bit already wandering around being a pasty white guy!). i told our server that we intended to order too much food and we did so. everything arrived at once of course so we were suitably embarrassed about being pigs but we persevered! you get what you pay for is a familiar adage so we were prepared for mundanity but got some nice surprises. the crispy salt and pepper wings were as advertised. crispy and tasty! we added the blue cheese and veggies for a buck which was not a hardship wallet wise and hey!...you have to have blue cheese with your wings! definitely a verygoodceasar salad, this one has a roasted corn salsa and avocado. if you want to add chicken or beef for a couple of bucks, you will have a whole meal here. we enjoyed this also. we also got some pleasure out of the warehouse crispy mac n cheese. sturdy cavatappi noodles and lots of cheese with some alfredo sauce and other crispy stuff, this was great! slightly sliding downhill, the calamari had completely missed the salting when it came out of the fryer step. if that had not happened, this would have been great also. it was served with tzatziki which saved the thing. the works burger was not great. definitely a frozen patty, we kind of got a 7-11 taste from the beef which could not be overcome by the bacon and cheese etc. we upgraded to onion rings for a couple of bucks which was agoodmove. they came with a maple-sriracha glaze. very good. avoid the burger, order the o rings. we enjoyed our time at efw despite the food up and downs. the music was thumping and we had the option of watching skateboard impressiveness on the tv monitors (and a few catastrophes). social distancing was maintained with intermediate tables reserved for inflatable dolls (i know, right?) our server was friendly but fairly busy also and a little distracted (all i wanted was water).

this is a place for young people. if you are not a fan of loud music and hip hop, stay away. the service is shaky though. i finished eating and had empty plates on my table for over 10 min. the music was a bit loud to hold a conversation with my older companions. however if i just wanted to drink and have somegoodmusic on the background, this would be it..

this place is kind of strange, it was recommended so we thought we would give it a go.
the greeting wasn't pleasant and the service never got better from there.
wed were sat in a corner, rather dingy and the table was tiny, we ordered a margarita and a mojito. both were honestly the worst cocktails i've ever had, watery, no flavour, wrong seasonings for the rim and the mojito had no sugar whatsoever. they also took a very long time to arrive even though they were not that busy, it was a thursday night.
onegoodthing is the value for money on food,  a decent menu.
we ordered the beet and goat cheese salad and the poutine. the pouting was under seasoned completely (if at all) and they had no malt vinegar, i found this strange. the salad had a strange taste i couldn't put my finger on and was way overdressed.
not impressed. the service was so bad, no one in there had a smile.

what a great experience! my sister and i drove up to whistler from vancouver for the day and i had never been to any of the warehouse restaurants before. its such a great idea for people on a budget but to also know that you can get reallygoodfood. we shared the nachos for one, which turned out to be so delicious. that could also be because i didn't have high expectations of what they would be like when you look at the price. my sister had the smokehouse burger which by her reaction alone i knew was good, and i had the spaghetti with the pan bread and it was also delicious! service was good, but the food was better!

great service, meh food.

reasonably priced eatery in whistler village. be warned you get what you pay for, but at $5/plate i will not fault them.

tonight ordered (1) beet and goat cheese salad and (2) soft chicken tacos -- both meh. salad was a generous portion of greens but admit didn't taste any dressing and the beets were all at bottom of bowl. the soft tacos were small and not very tasty and def not spicy as marked on menu.

service was top notch from hostess, server, kitchen help -- all awesome !

bottomline: if you're on a budget this is agoodoption.

still love stopping by el furniture warehouse anytime i'm up in whistler. great food, great service and are you kidding me at $5/plate!? you'd think the food quality/taste would be compromised by the cheapness but nope, not at all! they don't skimp out on portion sizes or ingredients either.

today we ordered:

butternut squash soup (off their seasonal menu) - mom said it was the best butternut squash soup she has ever had and she's a self-appointed "soup connoisseur"

beet & goat cheese salad - delicious! loved the addition of the pecans and the light balsamic vinaigrette. would definitely order this next time.

pulled chicken sandwich & peppered fries - yum. still can't believe this plate costs $5 and leaves you fully satisfied.goodamount of fries. no skimping on the filling of the delicious pulled chicken sandwich. it comes on a pillowy-soft brioche bun *i believe everything should be served on a brioche bun instead of a regular bun*. i would definitely order this again but next time i'd add the candied maple bacon (drool).

mini doughnuts - the only reason i even go to the pne is for the mini doughnuts so to get to have them minus the lineups and general carny experience was a huge bonus. served nice and hot with a delicious dipping sauce (some kind of bailey flavoured caramel concoction?) highly recommend finishing off your meal with these!

all of the above plus a draft beer, ginger ale (i was the dd ... ugh) and two coffees came to $36. how does this place even make money?! i'm just glad they are still around and i will always make a trip when in town. two thumbs up!

5/5 saving the best for last. warehouses usually mean that the place has really cheap food. and in this case, everything was $5. what. a. steal. el furniture warehouse had reallygoodportions. my favorite has got to be the works burger and fries. absolutely fantastic. great fries. my mom got the asian noodle salad which tasted really fresh and the presentation was fantastic. their yam fries are great! the potato skins are mediocre, probably wouldn't order that again. the chicken wrap was pretty tasty. the chicken quesadillas were better. the banana split is mediocre. almost everything on the menu is fantastic. you honestly can't go wrong with $5 a dish. went there twice, loved it twice. the only downside is that it gets pretty darn busy so you won't get your food very quickly. their wifi is also kind of iffy on the left side. they also have seasonal dishes, which i really appreciate the effort. click here for the works burger and all it's glory. definitely going back. highly recommend

tourists not welcome. my husband and i went to this restaurant on sunday, july 27th at 1:00 pm. it was packed, with a line. we didn't pay attention to the signage out front that said which said all food was $4.95 all day. honestly if we had, we probably would not have gone in, you get what you pay for right? because of the line we asked if we could sit at the bar which was fairly empty. we're bar people anyway, so no big deal. we sat at the bar. there were two locals across the bar, that was actually on the street. they were taking up a lot of the young female bartenders time, a lot. we eventually got our food. my husband ordered a breakie sandwich, and i order a roast beef sandwich, i believe. meh. as we were eating, a woman (tourist, like us) came up to the other side of the bar and asked if she and her two companions could sit at the bar to eat. they were told yes by the bartender. as she left to get her companions, the two local man at the other side of the bar started to make fun of her guessing what her drink order would be, gin and tonic, i guess to these guys that was a high falutin drink and the two bartenders did nothing to stop them and in fact egged them on. neglecting to remember that pretty much everyone in that restaurant was a tourist. and was how they made there money. after the threesome sat at the bar these two people started making jokes with sexual references, if i recall one of them was about cocktails, with the emphasis being placed on the first part of the word. again, bartenders just laughed along. at this point i was thoroughly sick of it. and more disgusted with the bartenders for allowing it to continue rather than the two locals, who thought they were hysterical. an employee came up to the bar, i asked if he was the manager, he said he was. i asked who he made his money from tourists or locals. he said half and half. which i seriously doubt, i would guess the two locals were there because half their draft beers were comped by the bartenders. i told him what had been going on and that his bartenders should put a stop to it. he said he would handle it, went up to the locals. the local said he would take his business elsewhere, the manager then came up to us, said he would comp our meals but that this was not our kind of place and we should not come back. of course we wouldn't have anyway, but i was still quite shocked. obviously this place will not get agoodreview from me, food was mediocre at best and the staff and the management, horrific. i hope the owner or general manager sees this review. the manager who told us not to come back, should be fired.

food is cheap but next time i think i'll go elsewhere. the poutine wasgoodbut the chicken waffle sandwich, the breakup sandwich and the chicken soft tacos were pretty boring. the burger was pretty good. loud dance mix kind of music was on, which isn't my favorite but maybe others don't mind that.
