popular breakfast spot. large portions [especially the "work potatoes"]. we were told ten minute wait and it was about right [sunday mid-morning]. if you put you name in, ask to see the menu - it is extensive.
the eggs are offered up to four (4) per plate, so you'll not go hungry. service is about what you'd expect from a busy place. can't go higher on the stars for what amounts to a large plate more than half covered with potatoes, and the eggs fixed as you usually get eggs in a restaurant.

saw the parking lot was full and knew we had to stop in. it was no disappointment. the menu had tons of options and the food was cooked perfectly and delicious. our server, patrick, was excellent. he did not miss one step. the welcome muffin and the offer to take coffee to go as we were to leave was a great touch. skip breakfast on the strip and come out here.

we had breakfast here twice in a span of four days. we had a car so we could easily do the drive of 10 minutes from our hotel at treasure island to this restaurant.

on a friday morning, around 10 am, there was no wait for our family of 5. alexa, our server, was very pleasant and efficient. the omelettes were great, the kids enjoyed the pancakes and waffles, and while i'm no muffin fan, their banana nut muffins were really amazing. the place was packed the entire time we were there, and there was a much longer lineup when we left.

the one downside to me was their home fries...called something-diablo home fries. it's basically barbecue lay's seasoning...i could've lived with normal home fries, these weren't really good.

on our 2nd visit (sunday morning around 11), the wait was about 15-20 minutes which was fine. but once we ordered, it took almost 30 minutes for our food to come out...apparently there was a table of 20 which caused our food to be late. not very happy about that...when it finally came, my eggs benedict was pretty good.

would definitely go back, though, since the prices on the strip are higher on sides.

the perfect las vegas gem. this is one of those places that i wish for when going out to eat. the menu was full of choices! what ever mood your in whether you're hungover, want a late breakfast or a early lunch nice place to dine. my beautiful one had the vegetarian crepe and i had the pork carnitas crepe. huge portions! the banana nut muffin is so soft and moist. coffee hot service was outstanding! off the strip. this is a place you should try.

the free muffin!  was, so, good!  i think it was the banana nut muffin that they give you on the house as you flipped through the menu and ordered some more yummy food.  it was so buttery and soft and warm and... even though mine looked like someone had taken a chunk from it i ate it without hesitation.  that's how good it was.

i forgot to write down exactly what i ordered so you'll have to look through my pictures.  all i can say is that the food was good and it tasted like good old american greasy spoon breakfast without being actually all that greasy.  i've had worse breakfasts that were unnecessarily greasy.  this place has just enough grease to make your meal satisfying without bogging you down too much.  you'll be satisfied but you won't feel completely gross afterwards.  the portion sizes are huge and you should share it if you can hold back from ordering (i couldn't).  my mouth is watering right now as i write!  the country fried steak, the pancakes, the beef ribs, the scrambled eggs... everything was just perfect.  this included the service too.  attentive but not intrusive.  what more do you want?  rent a car if you are not a local and come check this place out!

there's more to las vegas than the strip.  if you're willing to venture 10 minutes outside the strip, there's a great breakfast place called the egg and i. . they also own egg works, which has the egg-xact same menu. the portions here are more than generous, and on weekends, the wait can be long. i ordered an omelette with fruit and a banana

a little off the strip but worth the short drive. really good food, coffee could be stronger. our waitress was great. prices were very reasonable too. check this place out for bfast or lunch. i had the huevos rancheros - it may have been the best i've tasted, ever. cant wait to go back.

the egg and i had a diner feel, something that oozes good breakfast food. most of the items fell under 10 bucks, and it came with a lot of food. this was exactly what we needed to fuel our full round of golf. i had the catherine’s scramble. it had four eggs scrambled with sliced chicken, mushrooms, spinach, feta cheese, and artichoke hearts. the eggs were ok — something i can make at home. in hind sight, i should have ordered something else. nonetheless, the scramble was delicious and cheesy. a little dash of their hot sauce and we were in business. with a side of their heavenly buttered rye bread, i was just munchin’ away. i had a bite of their eggs benedict, something a buddy of mine always seems to order. the eggs were nicely cooked

order a banana muffin. we arrived for breakfast on a weekday morning. we were greeted by the hostess and sat near the back, near where the kitchen is. our waitress was carol anne. she was as good as it gets. i asked her what was the best dishes and she suggested the chile relleno omelette. i was glad to hear that as i love green chile and don't get very good ones in florida. my spouse has the collision which was a cross between a crepe and an omelette. we both ordered potatoes with our entre and a banana muffin. i had seen the muffin delivered to another table. the omelette was awesome the green chile had so much flavor. the collision my spouse had was very good. the banana muffin was the best banana bread or muffin i have ever had. i would go back just for the muffin. carol anne was a great server and kept checking with us and took care of us through the whole meal. i noticed on her name tag she had worked there for 4 years and it showed. she knew everything about the restaurant. i would highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch. i will go back anytime i am in vegas and of course i will look to sit in carol anne's section.

egg & i & us...our favorite vegas breakfast spot.  highly recommended by locals. we loved it. huge selection of breakfast options. we had the chili omelet...choice of two chilies. our server brought us samples of both so we could choose. the 4 egg omelet was large enough for the two of us to split, and we did. the banana nut muffins were also memorable. service (thanks crystal) was prompt and friendly. we had a 20 minute wait on a late friday morning, but well worth it. been back to vegas a couple of times since our first meal here, and we make a point of splitting a chili omelet each trip.
9/5/16  our guests loved the crazy chicken omelet. we split a chili omelet with the cincinnati chili...not nearly as good as the regular chili...it had way to much cinnamon.

lovely brunch spot. it took a little bit of a wait to get a table for saturday brunch but it's worth making the trek to the egg and i. i had a great chicken pesto omlette although the american/vegas obsession with fried potatoes at breakfast is very much in evidence here. service is quick, the ambience hectic but it's a good place to be

found this place thanks to urbanspoon and am so glad i did!! i've had eggs benedict at some of the fancier places on the strip that weren't as good as here. our server was wonderful and it didn't cost us an arm and a leg. highly recommend!!
