had specials (grapefruit & avocado salad, taquitos). they were excellent and the service was fine, however theplaceneeds an update and thorough cleaning.

sad to say but thisplaceis rapidly declining in both food and service quality. it used to be one of my favorite spots...

best cheeseburger ever, dare i say even better than malas kobe beef burger in maui. also had the beet salad, so de-lish! nice family atmosphere, there were even other gay folks there. they bring you cotton candy with your bill and the service was excellent! i'm not even going to mention the outrageous hot fudge sunday we may or may not of had. can't believe i found thisplaceon a random search on urban spoon, thank god for free apps!

theplaceis adorable, nice bathrooms too. the chicken & waffles were good and kept me full for hours. the staff was friendly and helpful and the check came with bananna cotton candy. i'm not a fan of cotton candy but it was a twist on the typical mint with the bill and it actually taste like bananas.

they are doing a great job a new location is set for livermore. i love the idea, love the menu, love the location let's just hope thisplacecan last in this bad luck location!

i stopped in tonight to get a to go menu and theplacewas just starting to get packed around 6pm. the ladies at the host stand were very friendly and even offered me a business card so i had all the info. whoa!!! the first thing i was was the name of the president and gm, ed westmoreland! oh crap! that guy was my gm when i worked at pf changs many years ago. well i had my ups and downs about him but he knows how to make things happen in the restaurant business. seems everyone who has left pf changs is doing very well as changs is dying a slow death.

well i know thisplaceis going to do very well in pleasanton with all of these great classic american comfort dishes.

49er vegetable shop suey
texas chicken fried steak
mama's meatloaf
mac and cheese

i could go on and on for hours with all of the great things to be offered. the decor seems very relaxed with a cool stone floor and open space. i do see this being a very kid friendly spot as well.

i can't wait to hit up eddie papa's many times! with a great selection, friendly staff and reasonable prices i wish you all the best mr. ed westmoreland!! lol

fantastic place!. greatplaceto take your family or a date. great service and fantastic food! and you get free cotton candy at the end of your meal. i suggest getting the meatloaf dish or pulled pork sliders, both taste fantastic!
