eat drink laugh

i’m currently still sitting here after my meal. the whole experience was amazing!greatfood and drinks and the staff were so welcoming :) the moved us under a table with a heater and gave us a blanket to cuddle! thrilled with this experience!! will definitely be back

pretty nice newly open cafe in gret lynn are. i love the ambience & how they decorate the cafe with lights hanging from the ceiling as well as wooden-colored chairs & tables: very simple yet elegant. the cafe is very spacious, which makes me feel really comfortable & relaxed. food is pretty good though my partner's poached eggs were a bit well-cooked. service is awesome. we are very impressed by the way they welcomed and served us: absolutely friendly and professional. there is one waitress with glasses on who is super super friendly with smiles on her face all the time (i forgot her name though we did ask before we left the cafe 😅). definitely will come back again to this local cafe as it is only 3-minute drive from our house 👍👍👍).greatdeal with zomato gold too 🥰🥰🥰. highly recommened!!!

hi everyone, my friends and i thought we’d try out their bottomless brunch yesterday. it ran for 2 hours. the waitress let us know the rules for participating before taking our order that there was to be no skulling and our time limit had already begun despite my friends arriving late. (no worries there, completely understand).

the white sangria was tasty. it consisted of a bit of white wine, sprite and fruit. there were also red wine sangria, mimosas, prosecco, cider and bloody mary’s on offer.

the food options we chose were
benedict bowl, paleo waffles, bao buns, soft tacos (where the fish was substituted for the pork), fries & kumara fries. they were great! i ordered the brioche lamb burger with fries. i didn’t realise it would be pulled lamb as on the menu i thought it was just the pulled beef burger that would be pulled (i’m not a fan of pulled meat). while the lamb had a lot of sauce on it, the meat itself was quite dry. the staff were very kind to swap my dish for another option so i had the fish tacos. they were ok.

cute decor. most staff were attentive and helpful. however the waitress who was serving our table was quite unwelcoming, made us feel as if we were being constantly monitored, would purposely withhold refilling our drinks and overall made our time at eat drink laugh unenjoyable. it felt like edl have caught on to the popularity of the bottomless brunch gimmick. at $59pp it’s one of the more expensive bottomless brunch’s on offer in akl and i think that was reflected in thegreatfood options.

overall i’d probably not return as the customer service let edl down.

great experience at this relatively new cafe. food good, servicegreatand decor really pretty. picture of the lamb bowl with potato and onion hash, olives, hummus, tomato and jalapeños. will be returning!

beautiful food, creative dishes that are unique,greatservice each time with the best coffee and a graat modern fitout. a standout in the area and the “vinegar lane” development certainly needed these smart experiences operators back in the area.

oh sooooooo sooooo yummy! i would have the green breakfast again and again and i probably will since this is right next to work.greatservice too.

new, modern and bright cafe. had the albanian scrambled eggs which were really good. coffee was just ok.greatcustomer service, i forgot to use zomato gold but they were nice enough to refund me :)

a lovely little place in ponsonby, i had the scrambled eggs with albanian sausage and it was so scrummy! the sourdough was delicious and all the ingredients were so fresh. my friend had the smoked salmon benedict and the salmon was one of the best we ve tried. the presentation and coffee was reallygreattoo, my friends flat white was awesome and my long black was very nice. all in all a reallygreatplace to visit, its a real gem!! :)
