the location is good, they have parking and ambiance is pretty. the place gets very crowded, so table booking is a must.
the food was good, both veg and non veg. service is also pretty quick even on a busy day.
i enjoyed appetizers more than main course.

food was strictly average. the chicken (chicken capresse) was overcooked and lacked much flavour and the veggies weren't sauteed enough and were still a bit raw. the cocktails were alright. gin and tonic, can't really go wrong with it. the ambience was really something special. but then it became really noisy at around lunch time. service was good. the wait staff are quite accommodating. but there's still a little bit of snobbery that the front of desk staff show. but the servers are quite kind and agreeable.

too costly and over priced

after seeing so many good reviews, i thought i'll reserve a table at this restaurant. the food was very good with soup and paneer tikka being the highlights. the staff could've been more trained as things such as serving water and asking for orders had to be called out. it was like i had to wait for the person to get my order rather than waiting for food. hopefully the service is improved, as i'm looking forward to have my meal here sometime soon.

visited this place on a crowded holiday. the ambience was quite good. ordered below items,

cheese fries
crispy lamb
korean beef stir fry
korean chicken wings
chicken pizza
mac and cheese pasta
chicken kalmi kebab

chees fries were okay in terms of quality and quantity. chicken wings were good, it had 6 medium-sized pieces. asian food lovers may love this sauce. didn't try beef so not sure how it was, heard from my friends that it was ok. the crispy lamb was not that good and the quantity was also very less. chicken kebab was great, perfectly marinated in yoghurt as they stated. pizza was good, since we ordered extra toppings like mushrooms and jalapenos it was good or else it would have been just cheese and meat, i guess. mac n cheese pasta was average, many small cafes serve better mac and cheese than this. by seeing the quantity and taste we decided to skip the dessert. the overall bill was rs2993 which was pretty decent considering the ambience. i doubt, whether i would try this place next time.

this place is just fabulous. fantastic ambiance, food tastes great and perfect for dinner date. staff if very nice and helpful. they take the feedback very seriously. it's highly recommended.

let me first say there is nothing to complain about the food they serve here. both the quality and quantity are too good!

the only reason to rate the restaurant with 2 star is because of the rude behaviour of the reception staff. the way they communicate with the guest is something that the restaurant’s management has to notice! i’ve been to this many times for lunch/dinner/evening snack and had bitter experiences with the front staff on several occasions. this brings a negative impression about the place even when they serve the best food in town! i hope the management takes necessary action.

good food with pleasant ambience. it is a great place for family and friends. the biscoff drip cake was awesome and loved their salted caramel and butter pecan gelato. do try their chicken schnitzel and lemon butter fish. calamari fritters was very average.

we liked everything .. spinach corn soup to s’mores … starters are really good .. vicky helped us make the experience better with a friendly gudiance in the menu .. we will return often ..

loved the ambience, very few places in chennai gives outdoor cafe feel. the weather was good to enjoy the outdoors too. mosquitoes played the spoilt sport.
the food was good, 3 out of 4 dishes we ordered was good. the chicken burger was a complete let down with absolutely no flavour.
overall good place to chill out with family and friends!

a special dinner at east coast at madras square. tucked away in the quiet lanes of nelangarai, this is a very charming restaurant and bar. booking a table would be prudent, as the place was filled to capacity with more diners coming in when we left at about 9 pm. very efficient and fast service. the multi-cuisine starters and main courses were excellent. just rightly flavoured and spiced. amongst us we had fried lotus stems, kung pao tofu and pork momos. each had its own flavour and were delicious. portions were ample and nothing to complain about. for the main course - watermelon and feta cheese salad, thai chicken curry with jasmine rice, some rotis with mutton rogan josh and malai kofta and a very nice medium rare steak served with mashed potato, mushroom sauce and sauteed vegetables with a helping of potato wedges.. desert was tiramisu, belgian mousse. drinks were served very quickly and well chilled. all in all, a great gastronomic experience. commend the management and staff and compliments to the chefs for a great dining experience start to finish. must try the lunch soon.

situated a little outside the city, the place offers pleasant ambience and a gratifying vibe . although it is tough to reserve a place / get a table in case of instant plans, place has good crowd and aplenty food options. worth to splurge on a weekend .

we celebrated our anniversary here. it was lovely. we have been hyping for this place for a long time and finally made it. unfortunately, we could not get an outdoor seating with candle lights due to rain. but we got a balcony seating instead.

food was top notch. we ordered
olive and hummus bruschetta. it tasted really fresh. 5/5
pizza napolitana - 4/5 was a bit tangy
funghi alla panna pasta - 4/5 mushrooms were perfectly cooked. felt like the pasta was only 90 percent cooked.

the quantity provided would be sufficient for even 3 people. the service was quick and friendly.

the ambience was amazing and very romantic indeed.

loved the ambience. thanks for making my birthday lunch perfect. the food preparation is superb. only thing why i didn’t give 5* is that the place can be maintained more well given the lovely ambience it already had. like the entrance can be more maintained and toned. they have kept as it is with natural plants! otherwise all good
