nikki h is the best!.dudley'smay not have been the first thought that came to my mind when thinking about places to celebrate cinco de mayo, but it was amazing. they have great happy hour specials, and our server nikki is the best i have had since moving to omaha.

graduation celebration. our graduate suggesteddudley'sfor the post commencement celebration. a bit non-traditional but a great choice! none of the guests had been todudley'sbefore but all were impressed. creative/original topping combinations were a hit - even with the 'less adventurous' eaters in the bunch. we tried 4 different pizzas + some chips and queso/salsa to get us started. they accommodated our large group with a small buffet set up. if i had to do it again, i would've chosen the 'private' room but it was fine. our waiter - andrew s. - did a great job and tracked us down outside after leaving a couple of personal belongings at our table. we shall return!

the pizza i had atdudley'spizza and tavern was good - not exactly what i was expecting in a "tavern-style" pizza - but good enough that i enjoyed the taste of it.  since zomato won't allow me to give half-stars any longer, i would call the pizza a 3.5 star pizza, but i can't give it a 4 star rating.  they had a good selection of craft and domestic beers to choose from, and other than a minor hiccup when i needed a couple more napkins and no one was behind the bar for five minutes, the service was pretty good, as well. and christopher raven's music was a nice relaxing touch at the end of the day. over all the years i've been traveling to omaha, i've only found maybe one or two pizza places that i thought were really good. i wouldn't putdudley'sinto that category of "really good", but it was serviceable pizza that didn't suck.

the pizza here is very good! the nachos and chicken wraps were also tasty. the one thing i was disappointed with was the onion rings. they were tasteless and greasy. it's a fun, college atmosphere all together and i would say for a sports bar not bad. our server was polite but we were definetly rushed toward the end of our meal for some reason. i also found it a little frustrating that they were out ofdudley'sipa.

we enjoy and frequentdudley'spizza. their food has all been great - we love the pub fries for an appetizer. their salads, burgers and pizzas are all good. service has been spotty (and a few times pretty terrible), but we generally sit at the bar and it is much better there. i'm hoping this doesn't decline with the new staff.

went todudley'sbefore seeing a movie at aksarben cinema...  the full 5 rating is due to the service we received.  our waitress jamie was snappy with drink refills and swift to fulfill our napkin requests. not only that but her smile was infectious!  we definitely look forward to coming back and requesting her specifically.  the food was pretty delightful as well!!!!

this was our first experience atdudley'sand it was a good one. we started at the bar but since i was cold, we opted to sit outside. the patio faces east so we had plenty of shade for dinner.

we had the combomaha pizza and it was very good. i was worried about the banana peppers but they complemented the meat and veggies well. the crust under the meat and veggies was thin and crisp while there was a large edge that was perfect for dipping in the honey provided. in my mind, it was the best of both worlds: thin and thick.

the only negative was that they seemed to be out of every beer my husband requested and therefore there were not many dark beers on tap. we did try a few new beers so maybe it was not necessarily a bad thing.

as we are exploring restaurants in new neighborhoods this was quite a find and when we want pizza, we will be back.

tonight was our first trip todudley's- great atmosphere! josh was our server and did a great job. we were undecided on which pizza to try - josh really helped by telling us the most popular ones, describing the flavors of the ones we were torn between and then also suggesting we order a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza - great choice josh! we had the steak pizza and the dudley - both great. no need for dessert - dipping the doughy crust in honey at the end our meal was dessert enough. we'll go back!

yikes, bad on all fronts. a little about us...we live in the aksarben area and love to frequent restaurants around here. we are relatively easy to please and together we could not think of one entree we had ever sent back.

we visiteddudley'son a thursday evening around 6 and the weather was beautiful. the first thing we noticed as we walked in was the overwhelming smell of...for lack of a better descriptor...poop. thankfully the smell was only in the initial corridor. the restaurant had about 20 people dining, which surprised us for a nice thursday evening. our hostess sat us right away on the patio and we ordered a hard pear cider and some truffle fries. the pear cider was delicious and reasonably priced. the truffle fries were thick cut, which was a little different but were fried perfectly and nice and crispy. they had parmesan cheese sprinkled on them and some parsley. the fries alone had no traditional "truffle fry, garlicky taste." they were rather bland and in need of salt. the fries were served with some "creamy garlic sauce" which was more of a garlic gravy. my fiancé, who loves most condiments described the gravy as tasting like "my mouth after i throw up." i personally didn't think it was that bad. it got rather heavy and unappetizing after about 5 fries, though. we ended up asking for some ketchup to eat with the fries.

i have celiac disease so i am always looking for restaurants with gluten free options. we were happy to find out that they did not bread their wings, and they were gluten free. we ordered 5 garlic parmesan and 5 traditional buffalo. we also went outside the box and ordered some "italian chicken nachos." we both were expecting something close to the italian nachos at old chicago that i used to eat by the bucket load before being diagnosed with celiac. our food came out rather quickly. the first things we noticed were the number of wings...we received 9, not 10...we said nothing about this because we had plenty of food. the other thing we noticed was the scarcity of "nacho" toppings. we didn't get a picture but it looks like a plate of tostitos with a drizzle of sour cream, some green sauce (creamy pesto) about 3 ounces of mystery meat, and a side of marinara sauce.

we started with the wings...they were about room temperature, rather small, and definitely not "charred" as promised on the menu. the buffalo had a good salty, spicy, vinegary taste. if they would have been hot, i would have definitely recommended them. the garlic parm were not salty at all, the chicken was not seasoned at all, room temp, and no crispiness at all. we got both ranch and bleu cheese for dipping. the ranch literally tasted of nothing and the bleu cheese was most definitely kraft bleu cheese from the bottle.

then the fun really began...we each reluctantly went for the nachos...once again, room temperature with 2 creamy sauces which was not a pleasant mixture. the marina was probably the best part. it was hot, had good flavor and had nice chunks of tomatoes. the chicken had no form whatsoever. it looked like someone had taken a hand full of cooked chicken and squeezed it in their hand very tightly and then placed it on the nachos. all of the chicken was covering about 6 chips. after one chip, we both looked at each other with confusion as i said "is that fish?" my fiancé tasted the exact same thing. we smelled around and narrowed down the culprit...definitely the chicken. i braved the storm and went for one more. same exact taste only stronger. the taste was so off putting that we immediately stopped eating all together.

we debated whether we would say something, but knew it was our duty to do so. our waitress did not seem surprised at all...almost like she had dealt with this same complaint many times before. within minutes she came back to tell us they were making us a new order. we immediately declined the gesture and said we were through. she proceeded to bring our check and to our surprise the nachos were still on the tab. i politely brought this to her attention and she proceeded to tell us that she was reluctant about trying to get food items taken off of a ticket because the managers did not approve of this at all. she said depending on which manager was working, there was a chance it would be removed but she couldnt guarantee anything because the manager was not polite and already didn't like her.

just when we thought things couldn't get any worse, we both grew angry as there was a chance we would be expected to pay for the rancid nachos that we didn't eat. thankfully for the establishment and the managers reputation, the nachos were removed. only the nachos. the manager was no where to be seen and not one single person came over to apologize or check on us. this was the most appalling event of the night. as a business owner myself, i could never imagine not dealing with a dissatisfied customer face to face. this is the mark of a truly cowardly manager and a terribly managed/owned establishment.

needless to say, we will not be returning and we will do whatever we can to keep our friends and family away from this place. our main reasons having nothing to do with the food...bad food happens...but the managerial blunders are not excusable.

we have had some bad experiences in omaha before, but by far, this was the worst. i will also add, i have been living in omaha for 5 years, trying new restaurants frequently, using us all the meanwhile and have only written 1 other review...and it was for our absolute favorite restaurant...el basha. this is the only negative review i've ever written.

do what you may, but please if you are treated as we were, share your experience.

beware of generic responses. i posted a review of my experience last week and got the same lame generic response as all of the other negative reviews. todudley'sowners: don't waste your time copying your generic response. it's very obviously disingenuous! to potential customers: i truly hope your experience was better than ours because the owners clearly don't care to read your review unless it sings their praises!

unfortunate first experience. i am really sad that we didn't have a better experience. my wife and i live in the neighborhood and loved visiting mojo's prior to their closing. we decided to checkdudley'sout because we love the location and love pizza! we visiteddudley'son a friday night and they were fairly busy when we arrived.
the ambiance is nice but it became obvious that the owners must not be "restaurant" people when we sat down at our table and had a very hard time seeing our menus due to the awful glare that the placement of their lighting caused. the menu took way too many liberties, mixing flavors and styles that don't even sound appealing. to make matters worse, their selection of dishes weren't always appropriate for the dishes served (our mixed green salads came out in bowls that left more greens on the table than in our mouths). it's unfortunate that they are trying so hard when their concept could work and their location is second to none!
the food was pretty good and their beer selection is better than most. again, though, i can't say i was impressed. the cheese pizza my wife ordered had hidden pieces of bacon and the side salads we ordered came with chopped green onions that weren't mentioned by our waiter when we asked prior to ordering them.
the service was disappointing but could be fixed if they would just pay attention to detail and provide their staff with proper training. the fact that they didn't provide us with napkins or silverware until we had nearly finished our appetizer wouldn't have mattered much if the silverware they did finally give us (once we asked) would have been clean... but it wasn't.
we'll likely give them another shot since they're new, in the neighborhood, and we like to support local businesses but they will need to step their game up quickly because an experience like the one we had today won't fly if they want to make it to their 6 month anniversary.
oh, and to the owners (or whomever you were sitting in the corner booth that obviously knew the staff quite well), awkwardly staring at your guests throughout their entire meal is not the best way to "observe" your staff or the guest's experience. best of luck to you! and, if you don't want to rely on luck, hire a consultant to close the very obvious gaps in what should be a great restaurant in an even better location.

awesome!. we were in omaha visiting friends and had dinner at the (completely full)dudley'son saturday night. the pool table was our home, and we dined on pb&j wings (which were great), pizza (which was really great) and cookies for dessert (which, you guessed it, were great). we liked it so much that we decided to go back to watch the afc championship game on sunday. i had the burger for lunch, and my fiancee had the salad (just to mix it up a little). all around, the food was wonderful, and i would highly recommend it.

what's more, the atmosphere was great each time we where there. people were enjoying themselves, having fun, and it was easy to be caught up in it. the owners and staff have done a great job of making it feel like home; it's a place where it's very easy to come together and enjoy your time with whomever you sharing your meal.

if you're still reading, stop. instead, hop in your car and go try it for yourself. you'll be glad you did!

yummmmm. a large group of us went todudley'safter a bike ride last sunday and had a great time. the service was excellent as was the food. they had to provide space for our group of 25 or so and they were very accommodating. and the noise level was such that we were able to converse easily. the atmosphere is lively and fun. not to be missed for casual dining!

when i first heard aboutdudley'si was already excited. i personally feel that there can never be enough pizza & beer joints; especially ones that are actually good and stay open late. everything aboutdudley'sfar exceeded my expectations; from the food to the staff and service, everything is about as good as it gets. sure, they may have the occasiobal hiccup here and there. but that's to be expected for a place that's about a month old. as far as the wait goes, i can say that it has nothing to do with slow service or negligence. it just makes sense that when a place is crazy busy, it's going to take a while to get your food. the staff have all been extremely friendly and accommodating so far. i've been there at least 6 times and everyone i've taken with me has loved it! do yourself a favor and check it out if you haven't already.

in short: best pizza in town and quite possibly the best crust in the world. seriously.

not again. the first experience atdudley'swent well. we loved the food and had an amazing server. we went back less than a week later and had the worst service i've ever received at a restaurant. the place was loud and we had to shout the entire time to even hear each other, the waiter forgot a beer order and had to be reminded 3 different times, the waiter filled a diet mountain dew with water and never caught it, our onion rings came out when we were half way through our mediocre pizza and the waiter then forgot another beer and brought it when we were done eating all together.
