dubai opera iftar

very nice venue, but is ruined by the quality of food that is bland and with limited selection. loong lines waiting for the food that some of the people at our table didn't even eat and gave up. to top it all the katayif from sweets was spoiled

the ambience & set up is top class. they have managed to create an amazing ramadan feel to the entire place through subtle lighting and soft live music. however food offering is just about average.
there is not a single veg dish in the main course which was a major disappointment for my friend.
ironically the extras (coffee, soft drink) are charged despite the high initial price.
overall an interesting place for ramadan vibes.

went to opera suhour .. we were invited by cbi .. the ambience was nice but the food was disappointing... it was absolutely tasteless .i tries everything and i took one bite of them as i could not take another ... tooooo bad it was way below average.

top class ambience. food are prepared and presented to perfection. on point service, timing, attentiveness, friendliness. the harp players gave it more intimate twist in the ambience. the best iftar i had this year.

in the heart of downtown my wife and i discovered this gem for iftar. it’s really a huge place and was quite crowded. the ambiance was really appealing. the three piece band was an added delight. the iftar buffet provided a large selection but not much for vegetarians. the service was great. nothing to complain about besides the lack of veg options. we really enjoyed our experience.

ambiance is amazing, place is beautiful but the food is very disappointing. lentil soup is so diluted that it taste like watery potatoes, mezza is just terrible. i didn’t taste any lamb dishes cause i don’t eat lamb, but the beef was bad and chicken little bit better. for this price so not worth it. i thought the place will reflect on quality of the food, but was wrong. really disappointed

for the price of 220dhs at almajlis jumeirah, we were more than satisfied to be honest. for the price of 250dhs at opera dubai, well disappointment. charge of the valet parking is additional 100dhs? back in al majlis it is complementary. food had no variety at all, the famous drink of ramadan which is "qamr al deen" was a syrup!! . the waiters/attendees were pretty much clueless about every question that the guests asked, they didn't know the difference between plum drink & qamar al deen (cmon) we ordered moroccan tea (jumeirah al majlis it's again complimentary) it was charged 25dhs & it was tasteless like the rest of the buffet. the only two things that was nice about this experience were the setup & the performance & that's it; am i going to pass by them next ramadan ? well if they inhajced the service-food-offer why no?

dubai opera iftar surely went beyond my expectations. the food was amazing, venue aesthetics were on point and extravagantly fabulous! me and my team enjoyed our stay, having a seat near the stage where very talented musicians play classic and relaxing music made the experience more than worth it. the elegant ambiance of the venue gave us a very happy mood all through out our stay and we left feeling really good (and full!). i'm so thankful to have experienced the wonderful dubai opera iftar.
