moms and rockers dine together. the last time i've been to the doug fir was when we brought my mom for brunch on mother's day. the food was great (luna scramble), they serve stumptown coffee, and the atmosphere, while hip, isn't intmidatingly so. i've also caught a few shows downstairs in the lounge, and it's a great place to get dinner and then see a show (or vice versa).
