yummy food!. came here tonight (sunday night) after put put golf just in ermington. was surprised to see a lovely decor which was very welcoming and warm! had a booking for 2 at 8.30, the place was busy but not too packed. ordered the chicken dish with the chocolate sauce which was nice but very filling (as it came with rice and beans)! also got the street tacos with 3 meats which was delish! tried two different beers which were both great. sadly they had no churros today :( but friendly place, friendly service would def come back sometime!

i am so full. my god, this is the best mexican food in australia, servings the size of your head . . it's not cheap but wow it's good

i will never eat mexican anywhere else ever again. ever. urrp. i've done probably every mexican restaurant in sydney, and when i dont eat it . . i make it at home. mexican is a stable item in the menu.

dos seniorita's has meant i can no longer settle for many of my previous mexican haunts or home made surprises. it's just simply the best mexican i know of. .

im yet to try half of the menu, so that may change, but as far as the key items (taco's, quesedila's, burritos) there is a taste that i cant get at home or in any other restaurant.

have watched this place go from dead quiet (with the kids out in the street flagging down cars in mexican outfits to get business) to now packed nearly every night . . seriously, that doesnt happen if your food isnt good. when some one from work the other day (who lives miles away) said "do you know gladesville has the best mexican in sydney" i knew who they meant.

we even ordered takeaway tonight, it was still good. portions are very large so the price is worth it . .can be a bit expensive but it's seriously large food and good tasting.

next week will try the fajitas. spoiled me for ever, cant eat anywhere else.

went for dinner tonight (friday), place was packed, very glad we booked. was a little hesitant after reading some of the latest reviews, but we couldn't fault the place. service was fantastic, food was great. serving sizes were perfect. prices very reasonable too. will definitely be going back - left very happy.

then covered with (yes… and there’s more) jalapeno cream cheese, which is just out of this freaking universe and a second helping of jack cheddar cheese.

terrible service, made a booking for 2 on a saturday evebing. when we arrived they couldnt find our booking. after 5 minutes they asked if we could wait in the bar area until he found a table, as it was a busy night. he said we could eat there aswell. we agreed and waited 15 minutes, with no menu or drinks. a waitress then came up to us and asked us to move to another area. i explained that the boss asked us to wait here as they lost our booking, but we would like to order if we could have a menu. she then continued to ask us to wait in a waiting spot on the other side because another couple who walked off the street wanted to eat. at this ppint i knew they had terrible service. not once did they apologies or show any empathy. we then decided to leave. most terrible service i have ever had, will never return.

great food, portions are huge so don't order dips even if they are yum! was surprised to get all 3 dips in one bowl. service is good considering how busy it is however it lacks warmth. not a place to take your 1st date but great for a good mex feed.

so far they have the most authentic mexican foos i have ever tasted.... good service too!

brilliant. have been hanging out for a great mexican in sydney. after reading some of the reviews on this website i knew i had to try it. i was, however, a bit worried about the negativity regarding the service. well, obviously the staff have taken heed to the reviews and the service was fantastic. the meal was the best mexican i have had in sydney. great portions and very very much value for money. so go and try it - you won't be disappointed.

the restaurant was badly set up, more staff than customers. we were rudely greeted by a young girl with too much attitude and wearing a midrif displaying muffin-top. then when we were seated another rude staff member basically slammed all the glasses and cutlery down whilst looking surly. the food was tolerable but lukewarm. the atmosphere was awful and when i required cutlery as i only had a knife, i was given death stares. they had no kind of order for serving customers or for organizing themselves. absolutely atrocious and will never return.

good mexican food. we had a craving for mexican and this place delivered in terms of taste (delicious and authentic) and value (generous portion).

it is a busy little joint so booking is recommended.

two things we didn't like: if you get a table near the door, you can smell cigarette as people are allowed to smoke outside the restaurant sitting on sofa (total turn off for me),
as well as some of their waitresses weren't responsive, just stare and do nothing ( a bit of chaos).

definitely we will be back for more.

they're getting very popular!. we've visited a number of times in the past few months and have watched as the restaurant has got busier and busier. they've now expanded and there is much more seating space, but everything is still great! service is good and serving sizes are great value for money. i can highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great mexican food in sydney!

great food again and again but the service isnt existent in any real sense

very small,noisy but cosy establishnent. the portions on the other hand are very generous and tasty - we enjoyed the chefs suggestions. the service however let the place down. there were more than enough wait staff but with the exception of one lady they were not effective. all the usual mexican fare is on offer and we were welcomed with a free plate of macho chips with spicy dip. they have a good selection of beers on offer including a number of mexican imports (not just corona)! we did not get to try the deserts as the main more than sated our appetite.

greatest food in the world 10/10. i've travelled the globe, lived abroad, sampled food from corner to corner, and this small, homey eatery serves the best food i've ever tasted in my life. a literal tastegasm. from the moment you walk in off the street, greeted by one of several incredibly friendly and lively waitresses or the man domingo himself, you feel at home. if there's a table available - odds are - there won't be, you're sat down and a bowl of homemade salsa and corn chips are placed down for you to stretch those stomach muscles for an inevitable assault.

now, i'm biased here, my beer of choice has been, for some time, dos equis. it simply triumphs overall, however, try the margaritas. this is no watery sydney nightclub 20 dollar job, this is a 'more authentic mexican tequila than you can handle' margarita. absolutely delicious.

once your tastebuds have recovered from the utterly delicious assault of the salsa, your mains arrive. now, if you're a typical male like i am, you order the same thing every time - a burrito the size of a train. the first time i went, i didn't even finish half the gringo, which isn't even close to being the biggest (the whopping two-pound mack daddy takes that award). the burrito just... sends me, the homemade guac, salsa, multiple sauces, juicy chicken or beef that just falls away, the sauces, my god - the beans! it is just simply to die for, there really is nothing like hooking into one.

the rest of the food is amazing too, don't let me get carried away with talking about the burritos, we'll be here all night and i've got work tomorrow. enchiladas, mexican steak, chicken, massive servings of chili verde massive servings of nachos - all ingredients fresh and home made, constant beer, super-authentic, super-friendly, and - considering the amazing quality - very reasonably priced. as with any eatery - booze will always round out the tab, but you cannot walk into dos and walk out with a 0.000 reading. i'd consider it an insult to the establishment.

my ruling - best food i've ever had anywhere in the world. i'm a local, there twice a week if i can (i'm eating for half the week anyway), and i will never stop going there. domingo (owner/operator/awesome mexican dude with a bitchin' sombrero) is one of the friendliest men i've ever met in my life, and he has my 100% approval and a steady stream of my dollars in exchange for his masterful creations.

awesome place. this place is definitely the best mexican in sydney! the only downside is that the portion sizes are out of control 9/10
