dos senoritas

it's gotta be one of my favourite mexican places. it's absolutely traditional right down to the sauces. portions sizes were generous and totally worth it. we went for lunch and it was quiet. food came fairly quick. i'd recommend this place to anyone. will definitely return.

hola! i am so happy i have finally made it to dos senorita and can i just say to the whole wide world that i, shanshan lam, a mexican food loving human being freaking loves this place to death. there has been so much hype about this place which made me worry that the restaurant might have been overrated. but no, it met those expectations and probably exceeded it. huge servings of food at reasonable prices and food that is packed full of flavour, how can it possibly be overrated  between a group of four, we struggled to finish 3 plates of food. that is how huge these servings were, especially when all their dishes are full of carbs.  hola  hola! annnndddd the best thing about this place is that there are plenty of sombreros for you to try on! the only thing missing now is a real piñata to bash up.  complimentary doritos and salsa another winning thing about dos senoritas is that they offer complimentary doritos and salsa. they are so addictive. we tried to control ourselves but we ended

the best restaurant for fish and prawn tacos! the portions here are also incredibly generous and it's not too pricey either. stand out mexican gem!

decent portions and fresh flavours - it was a full house on the sat night when my friends and i ate there so was crowded, noisy, hot and a few annoying flies buzzing about (like being in mexico someone commented). food is tex mex style and reasonably priced. good for groups on a fri/sat, be sure to book!

we waited around 40 minutes for our burritos, a table that came in after us got served before us. we were contemplating walking out but when the food arrived all was forgiven! amazing food! huge servings! totally worth the wait!

best mexican in sydney. i've tasted other mexican restauraunts in sydney and have to say they tend to 'westernise' the food. this restaurant is amazingly authentic!

from when you sit down and are handed a bowl of corn chips and tomato salsa (to die for and on the house), the menu is exploding with options.

i've been here twice in the last month since it was recommended to me and can't get enough. if you trek to gladesville i strongly strongly recommend the hard shell tacos - yum! the prawn or fish filling is just full of flavour with guac, salsa and fresh fillings. the servings are huge, generous and the owner always greets everyone with a warm smile.

the man had the mac daddy burrito and not only was it huge but unlike some other mexican restaurants that tend to stuff the burritos with a heapload of cheese, salad this was filled to the bring (overloaded) with meat that was so tender and juicy it got two thumbs up.

poor form. booked a table for four on saturday night, arrived to find that they were double booked and the best they could offer was a table for two in 30mins....or a table for four in 'maybe' an hour. poor service and poor form, there were people waiting ahead of us. why book if this is how you're going to be treated. it's not on. needless to say we went elsewhere.

great nachos. went here as a last minute things after a movie and wasn't expecting much . the nachos and burritos was yummy and the service was friendly . we will be back again .

really chilled out place. honestly if it were not on urban spoon hot spots would not even give it a second look from the outside.

exceptional mexican. i was compelled to write a review after having dinner here, it was possibly the best mexican i've had in sydney, hands down. will definitely come back. strongly recommend the fish tacos (crunchy) - so good!

my husband and i went to this restaurant when it just opened, we loved it! for a long time we didn't go back and finally last night after weeks of talking about it we finally returned only to find it was 10 times more busy and had expanded into the next room, yes the decor is crazy, but who cares!!! the food is amazing! make sure you have not eaten for the whole day as its hard to get through a whole burrito its so filling, but completely worth it and the orchata drink is too die for im salivating just thinking about it now!!! this place is what all establishments should be no fuss and great food and thats exactly what it is.

awesome portions. came here sat night with the missus and service was very attentive. we thought just a main each as we read the reviews about the size and you weren't wrong. i ordered the burrito grande which was massive, almost a kilo and no rice or bean fillers just pure meat. only critism is none of the meat is shredded, only diced. mexican food is so much better when shredded. other than that fantastic food, great service. went home and fell into a food coma. :-)
