this place is wicked good!! all their funky and delicious sounding choices for dogs, sausages, burgers and brats makes it next to impossible to pick one. i ended up getting the fonz because i love italian sausage, but put some pastrami and mozz on top.... i about passed out from the sheer deliciousness! awesome atomsphere and the sweet gal behind the bar even gave me a shot for my birthday. the young man who took our plates was super friendly too! needless to say it was the perfect spot for my birthday lunch and i'll be back anytime i'm in pasadena!

build-your-own bloody mary bars are tough. if you can make a decent bloody mary, you’re probably safe. if you can’t, you may be better off leaving it to the professionals. but the sunday bloody mary bar at dog haus makes the whole experience rather painless. with multiple pre-made mixes and a handful of other sauces to spice up your drink, it’s fairly difficult to go wrong. plus, they have bacon strips, jerky sticks, and a bunch of other pickled goodies to garnish your booze.

this visit, i went ahead with das brat, which is a bratwurst, with whole grain mustard aioli, white american cheese, caramelized onions, and sauerkraut…on a split king’s hawaiian roll.

i also tried (on a different visit) the pig lebowski, which is a polish kielbasa, haus fries (yes, on the sausage), haus slaw (yes, on the sausage), and bbq sauce…on a split king’s hawaiian roll.

as i said, it’s no surprise that the king’s hawaiian stuff has gone over like gangbusters. but since king’s hawaiian rolls are not meant for hot dog/sausage consumption do lead to some…structural integrity issues.

they’re going to fall apart on you.

doghaus biergarten is a little difficult to find from the street – just go down the little alley on green street between raymond/s arroyo parkway.  (they’ve got a cute bathroom door  inside.)

after having my first dog haus experience at the alhambra location, i had to see the place where they serve alcohol. the vibe inside is geared towards the drinking crowd. there were tvs everywhere, it’s dark, and there was alcohol everywhere. not a big drinker by any means, i took advantage of their happy hour menu. i came here for the delicious sliders. i mean, making sliders on king’s hawaiian bread is pretty standard nowadays, but dog haus seems to get it right each time. their sliders are so simple, but so delicious. i crave them. with only a beef patty, cheese, mayo, and grilled onions, these mini burgers don’t seem special, but they are. the beef patty is fully cooked all the way through, something i usually dislike. surprisingly, the meat still retained its juciness. it was the juciest well done burger ever! you must be thinking to yourself, “well, that means it has a lot of fat”. well, yes it was greasy, and it was delicious. the grilled onions were perfect as it gave it a nice

used to really lke it. too many awesome places not to mention the trucks. now they are just ot "rockin" the flavor of their restaurant. be true to yourself and spend yor 20+ dollars at a great joint! haus fans we. have be cheated. bring back ferris or don't bastardize our favorite icons. it just is no longer worth a minute let a day off. abe froman would be so disappointed.

dog haus biergarten seems to be a pretty good place to get an inexpensive meal in old town. i didn't get a chance to check out their beer list or cocktails. they kept the same mixologists as point 08 which also meant they kept most of the cocktails on the old list, but soon i'll be there to check out their list of 20

pleasant surprise. great food, went with a group and seven different menu items were ordered and each person loved what they ordered. very reasonably priced. drinks are borderline expensive. don't be fooled by the shop front that looks closed, walk around the corner and you'll find the outdoor seating.

dog haus biergarten. the dine-in place is kind of hidden. the entrance on the main street is for to go orders only. if you want to dine in, go around and down that little alley and you will see the sit down area.

we tried this place because we love the other dog haus place in pasadena. we had been to the other place a few times, so i figured this place is pretty much the same.

we ordered our tater tots, dogs, and haus chili. i kind of freaked out when we got our dogs because it was not on the king's hawaiian buns! one of the reasons why i go to dog haus is because of king's hawaiian bread, so i went to ask why it wasn't on king's hawaiian buns, and they told me that i have to request the king's hawaiian bread if i wanted it (the guy said that it's on the menu). i read the menu and it says that it is on the roll, so i just assumed that it was on king's hawaiian "roll". the guy was nice enough to offer to bring us the king's hawaiian bread, so i was ok with it. we waited for about 10 minutes, and no bun, so we went to ask for our buns again. waited....5 more minutes, and no bun, so we went to ask for it again and 5 more minutes and there was our bun, hot and toasted, but i was not too happy. a minute later, the manager came to our table with our complimentary freshly made sweet potatoes fries and 50% discount coupon to dine in again for having to wait. i call that an excellent customer service!

while i was waiting for my buns, i was thinking about what to say on my review sites, but all my negative thoughts went away because their customer service and the food is good as usual.

there you have it! just don't forget to ask for king's hawaiian bread!
