great place for southindiantiffin's. try the idli and onion rava dosa. also, their veg thali and veg biryani are good. given them a try and you will come back for more..

hailing from hyderabad, i was always curious to go to daspalla, vizag. after a long wait got the chance to visit them. i we ordered for a southindianthali and rava masala dosa. thali was good, sambhar was the highlight. even the rava dosa was fine.

a wonderful place for breakfast as well as any other meals. excellent dosas' and fluffy idlis and a well rounded southindianthali. fast service and efficient, however be prepared to wait during dinner and at all meal timings on sundays and holidays!

great ambience, very friendly staff
typical southindianfood is what we got to taste in our southindianthali.. right from the papdams, pickles, sambhar, currys(ideally sabjis),pipping hot rice,rasam, podi, ghee...everything was yumm...
when you are a resident of mumbai you surely miss good authentic andhra food and our cravings are satisfied every year by a visit to dharani😊😊

this is my favourite restaurant for veg food and tiffins i was never dissapointed with their taste or service. southindianthali was super and coming to tiffins the chutneys which dey provide will go very well with dosa and idly they taste authentic.ambience was niceand this reastaurant was always busy but yet dey deliver items very quickly and coming to prices dey were moderate and worth for wat we have

it was my first visit to daspalla, had southindianthali, at darahini , food was tasty. decent place quiet and probably good to go with family members you will nt be disappointed have a try!!!!.

didn't have a very pleasant experience. the staff are very responsive and good. the tiffins are tasty but i was disappointed with the northindianfood. the dal fry is something you wouldnt want to try.

such is their courteous and prompt service, you will love it. most check-ins here are during lunch for their special thali (northindianas well as the south). northindianhas nan,puri chole, jalebi and other ni items, along with southindiandishes as their additions with compared with the normal southindianthali. the dal(pappu) was thick and will really gel up ur andhra taste buds with the podi powder, mixed with rice and ghee. the curries like papaya curry, coconut mix veg, bhindi fry was crispy and very well cooked with rasam and sambhar. non oily and delicious meal to savour with sherbet and pan as their complimentary items. must visit if you want to have a authentic andhra meal.

the place serves variety of south n northindianvegetarian dishes a'la carte...the southindianthali is wholesome n tasty..service is touch slow..ambience is gud especially if u r looking for a family 👪 meal..we had ordered a bread basket wit kadai paneer n mixed vegetable for the main course..serving size was gud..taste was satisfactory..however its their dosa n idli which made an impression on me...the off put was waiter himself declining for days spk frm da menu citing time constraint..they have got a kids play area which keeps the toddlers engaged after their grub...

hands down the best southindianveg thali ever.. everything on the thali was packed with flavour and best part about the thali was all the dishes were unlimited.. a must visit place for lunch in vizag..finger licking good

the original southindianmeal experience in vizag. been that way for decades now! their thali is the best in town and service is quite fast. fills up big time during the weekends. book in advance if going as a group.

the first thing you notice about this place is the hustle and the smell of good food.
we ordered the southindianthali. prompt service and the hustle went hand in hand. the food tasted like home. the complimentary grape juice was bad though. and the decor was very functional. the food partly made up for it.
if the place could get an uplift and fine tuning, it could stand neck to neck with its sister branch in hyderabad. it is nice to see the restaurant employing female staff. rarely do you see a restaurant serving ghee at the beginning and paan at the end of a meal nowadays.

used to be the place in vizag to go out and have a southindianthali meal. the place has been a vizag institution for over 30 years. the quality seems to be slowly fading away. the service on the other hand remains the same. very polite and courteous waitstaff.
