just what we wanted!

after a day of sightseeing and an early dinner, we looked for adessertplace and we found it!

we caught an uber ride and enjoyed key lime pie, mom’s chocolate cake, german chocolate cake, with coffee. all were delicious!

we got there and the place was full at 9:00 pm. people were constantly in and out of the place. we left at around 10:00 pm and it was even more packed than when we had arrived.

dessert gallery has been a staple in the houstondessertcommunity for over 20 years. serving up endless options in the "treats" category, owner sara brook knows a thing or two (or three) about satisfying your sweet tooth. so it's no surprise that she is still reinventing a few desserts along with renovating thedessertgallery location at 3600 kirby.

we ordered an italian creme cake for a wedding party and people raved about it. it was moist and perfectly created. i love thedessertfrom here.

two cakes. so far me and my girlfriend have tried two of there cakes.

the luscious lemon layer cake was delicious with a hint of citrus.

the toffee-licious was good but what really made it special was the icing between the layers. with the crunchy toffee pieces in it, we found ourselves wanting more of that instead of the cake itself.

all in all a gooddessertshop. definitely going back to try some of there other cakes.
