since we went for buffet the spread was decent but good taste was definitely not upto the mark as the name says. did not get the slightest essence of delhi food in any of the item. the rating is purely on theservicewe received

this place has a pretty decent ambience but the food is not that great. you might get lucky on a few occasions but the overall package is not worth it! the lower management provides goodservicebut the same cannot be said about the people higher up the order.

to top it now they charge an additional 2% on card transactions! i've had food in dhabas and smaller outlets and nobody charges that fee. in fact none of the eateries in vizag charge this to my knowledge. another way to fleece the customer? avoid this place like it never existed and you won't be missing a thing!

we stayed at rockdale suites, delhi diner is the restaurant attached to the hotel.

we stayed there for 3 nights and had the breakfast buffet on 3 occasions and the dinner buffet once and called for roomservicetwice.

i am vegetarian, the spread at the breakfast was not wide but was supremely tasty. the idlis were soft and the coconut chutney perfectly ground. don’t miss the pongal and vada if it’s available on the spread.

the avakkai bisibelebath, subz biryani, corn pepper dry and the springrole were of good quantity and tasted brilliant.

the dinner buffet had a great spread. every dish was worth a second try. the beetroot poriyal and pani puri deserve a special mention. the dessert spread wasn’t elaborate but whatever was served was satisfactory.

will visit vizag again just to dine here!

we were staying in the hotel in which this restaurant is located. since our flight was delayed we checked in pretty late, so it made sense to eat here. we happened to bump into chef shankar, who promised us a good meal. since he was the head chef and since we were staying by the sea we requested him to give us some good seafood along with one chicken dish and also left the food entirely up to him. even though it took long for our order to come, the wait was well worth it. chef shankar served us kadhai prawn, chicken tikka lababdar and really good really amazing fish which was not quite on the menu. he called it dhaniya fish. we were also served us some complementary desserts from the buffet. food wise they are really good, but theserviceneeds improvement. special note of thanks to chef shankar for taking really good care of us.

delhi diner is located near seven hills hospital, ramnagar.this restaurant is a part of rockdale hotel.
i always choose buffet whenever i visit star hotels because that's cheaper option. more than half items in the buffet were decent whereas remaining items were okayish. i loved mutton biryani, saggu biyyam payasam and phirni. ambience was perfect andservicewas great. i paid 620 for non veg buffet, so overall i had a mixed experience.

i ordered a parcel of various dishes and starters and got theservicemuch more than expected. mr shankar (the head chef) took personal interest in providing the best taste and feel in the food.
mansahari platter was amazingly cooked and perfect balance of flavour and cooking. perfectly crisp and delicious from inside.

went for dinner buffet..food was awful...none of the food items were tasting good.but the ambience was good ndservicewas good too.i wont recommend it to any one...

the food was above average but theservicewas bad! had to sit unattended for 25 mins!! asked for finger bowl, got it but the water was fully cold without lemon 😐
