another little brekky brunchplaceto check it out around goodwood. small cafe situated at a busy road. has indoor and outdoor seating but outdoor seating is quite minimal. very near to a busy road, if you bring your pets along, be extra careful. menu presented is quite interesting and attractive. there are some classic brekky and some of their own specials.
services - friendly staffs to greet customers. very attentive. food and beverages are served pretty fast.
food - one of the classic dish i love is poached eggs on toasted sourdough with avocado, crumbled feta and the extra pepitas for healthy crunch. eggs are poached to perfection. love the avocado spread, it's not too creamy and smooth, some chunks of avocado to chew on. the other dish we had is haloumi burger with sweet potato fries. the haloumi was delicious with the lightly toasted bun, caramelised onion and veges. the most dissapointed part is the sweet potato chips. it is soft and soggy. when it's chips, u will be expecting crunchy and crispy - but that's ain't the case.
beverage - coffee is good here. nice aroma and medium strong. coffee served semi warm, might ask for hot coffee next time. they also have a glass cabinet selling some sweets to go with your cuppa.

nice cafe definitely good for brekky. definitely would recommend and be back for more.

barely a pass mark. great hidden location and cool little fit-out which is a throwback to poppies grandparents house with the mirrors, plates, tables etc. however food was average and the coffee was highly lackluster. table service was also a bit off, had a hint of smugness and hipster arrogance. poppie ordered the smashed avocado, it was pretty standard. only difference being it had some fresh dill on top and some pumpkin seeds scattered around the plate. besides that pretty stock standard avocado on wholemeal with poached eggs. nothing spectacular or original to set it apart from any other breakfast eatery. what was most disappointing was the babyccino (cappuccino) poppie was served. it would have to be one of the weakest coffees poppie has ever had. poppie honestly thought it was only warm milk with cocoa powder on top and they had forgotten to drop the shot of coffee in it. terrible coffee. poppie can't really recommend thisplaceunless you're a local and it's convenient. wouldn't go out of you way to try dear daisy. thumb down, not worth an eat

dear daisy is one of my favourite suburban gems. a secret i want to keep so close from the rest of the world. there’s just something about thisplacei love. sitting in a small row of shops across the railway, you could easily miss it. this cafe is full of charm with the friendliest service. we have visited a number of times and yet never blogged about it so here it is.

was here for late lunch 2 weeks ago and ordered the hello me. service here is good and not overly attentive. my "breakfast" came with baked sweet potato fries which i was a bit disappointed in because they were flaccid. but the rest of my plate was delicious! would recommend this joint as a localplaceto frequent for a coffee or a when you feel too lazy to cook.

just the name of the cafe was enough to get me there.  yes the owner shares the same name with me.  it is a brekky/ brunchplacelocated in the suburb of forestville and close to the tram line.  this little cute cafe offers a range of breakfast item menus, coffees and milkshakes at a good price.  a great littleplacewith friendly staff, and great coffees too!

a little gem nestled in the burbs.
theplaceis not big but the food and coffee was great.

i had the scrofu which is a vegan version of a scrambled egg. no i'm not vegan but if i was i would be very happy with this. full of flavour and well seasoned and i would happily order the dish again over meat dishes.

the better half has the fritters and that too was delicious. not heavy but light and jam packed full of flavour.

if you have not been here yet, it's a must. will gladly go back there again.

decent for a brekky/brunch .
i had brekky here this morning with a girlfriend. we got there quite early for a sunday (0930) and watched as theplacegot busy and then as it went a bit quieter again, around midday (yes, a long catch up).
dear daisy offers a good selection of savory breakfast options, but only two sweet options. so, i was very pleased when they let me swap bacon for berries with french toast (it already had ice cream and maple syrup included). it was delish! black coffee was ok, cappuccino tasty. service was initially attentive but at times got a bit distracted. theplaceis quite cute with pretty simple decor. i wouldn't mind coming back again :)

had high hopes after reading the reviews on urban spoon, but we were very disappointed. coffee took nearly half an hour to arrive, and food over an hour. the lemon and dill hollandaise looked like beaten egg yolks, and had no flavour at all. poached eggs were cooked perfectly however. i wouldn't recommend thisplacefor breakfast.

sunday morning brekky. what a cool place.... a real local feel about it. i met my daughter for brekky and sat outside. i had the big brekky and my daughter had the vegetarian breakfast. probably a pretty standard fare, but the service, great coffee and ambience really sets theplaceapart. it's only small, probably seats about 35 and there is a great little nook out the back if you bring your puppy....

small breakfast cafe next to the railways in the unley area called dear daisy. reasonable priced food and tasted decent. theplaceis packed with locals but didn't have to wait long for food.it is located right next to the railways .the café is small with a hand full of seats. the decoration inside was simple but cute. there were quite a selection in the breakfast section but like most other breakfast places it has a variation of dishes with eggs cooked in different ways.
