exaltation in the highest. well we took a friend's advice and got the gravy fries. perfectly battered cuts of potato fried to a golden crisp fit for the gods. with rivers of decadent gravy, the hue of the delta. upon this glorious bed lay shards of the most delicious and poignant cheddar cheese; and still topped with crumbles of the finest cut of pork, bacon, cooked to crispy perfection which teetered upon the slopes like clouds in a dessert monsoon.
... that was just our appetizer
then came the burger....the bread, usually a simple canvas for the burger to suffocate, but not this time. the jalapeño bread sent its own brigade of seductive flavors. the spiciness was not disappointing, more intense with each bite only to be calmed by an unexpected hero, the sweetness of the bread. this burger played host of the most beautiful orchestra of earths own - vegetables. the veggies were kept together by the tangy sauce which clung to the bread and the veggies like a bride to her groom. i got the blue marble cheese, the name did not disappoint, it was a cheese as luxurious as the marble pillars on which all tales rest, like an answered prayer. robust, yet not tyrannical and it was melted to the perfect consistency. then there was the meat. the very thin, crispy outside layer crackled like a scene from americana towns independence day. the most juicy and succulent morsel ever known to man. the burger in its entirety sang together to create a beautiful harmonious experience, not unlike that of a world which we would call.... utopia.
