utterly generic. just had dinner at danny boy's with my family. did so based on some of the good reviews here. overall we were terrifically disappointed.
the good: the decor looks like every tgifs around except that it's loaded with sinatra material. i had an interesting draft beer, the kentucky bourbon ale - definitely had a bourbony flavor to it.
the bad: gosh, unfortunately , where does one start.servicewas poor at best - inattentive beyond the first five minutes; had $18 of desserts we didn't order added to our bill; and we waited for 45 minutes for entrees on a sunday evening at 6pm when the restaurant was perhaps 1/4 full. the food is generic as can be. nothing is terrible, but there is nothing that is worth having a second time. my calzone had gummy crust (as an aside, if you want terrific pizza, calzones, etc., go to pizzazz at fairmount circle - fantastic and consistent); my wife's rack of ribs seemed to have sauce from a bottle that was put on already pre-cooked ribs; and my son's chicken wings were skimpy/skinny and were close to flavorless as if they'd come frozen from a plastic bag.
the restaurant, and in particular its food is entirely generic and the positive reviews seem entirely undeserved. at this point we wouldn't consider returning.
