dang's thai kitchen

authentic thai. really outstanding thai food. the drunken noodles are possibly the best in portland. the seafood dishes are outstanding- try sf4 if you like halibut. the tender beef is currently on the specials menu and may be one of their best dishes with tender beef, lemon grass and red curry. the food is so good,serviceis really bad, overall, a must visit as it is all about the food. great for 'to go' or go in expecting to be ignored and you will be fine.

great thai in lo?. one of the best drunken noodle chickens i've had anywhere in my travels. take the drive to lo, well worth the trip!

good food and friendly service. you get what you except here. i am just loving it. i also recamened this to friends and family. good food quality and betterservicethen other.

great food, absolutely terrible service. one of my favorite thai restaurants. their curries are delicious with excellent flavors.serviceis terrible. not one smiling server there. it takes at least 20 minutes to have your order taken. once the server is there, place all of your orders (drinks, appetizers, main meals) because you won't see them again!

although dang's has terrific food, they have the worstservicei have ever had. my mom and me didn't get helped for a solid hour and when we tried to get someone's attention, they ignored us. i really enjoy dang's presentation of their food and their taste but i don't go to the restaurant anymore because i get such badserviceever time i go there. i hate giving bad reviews but my experience at dang's was just plain bad.

what's with the denyservicesign?. i've eaten at a lot of thai restaurants - though none in portland. i'd only rank this as a b. the drunken noodle b-, the ginger halibut b. i found the big "we reserve the right to denyserviceto anyone" sign behind the counter to the lower left of the buddha off-putting.
the long thin egg rolls, however, were excellent. the spring rolls almost tasteless.

this place keep on rockin.... i keep coming back to this place again, again... and again. i have not found anything that disappoint me yet, wow. i tried this chicken wrapped with some kind of leaves that you have to unwrap, let me tell ya, yummy! not that many thai places have this. volcano beef is out of this world the beef is soooo tender and flavorful. i recommended one of my friend (chef) to try it, he was impressed (that is hard to do). the only bad thing about this place is kindna far from my house. oh yeah, theserviceis great, one of the waitress is very cute too.

new thai food by the lake "o". this place has a good value for you get. they have many unigue dishes. the owner/chef is working very hard to set himself different. we you go there, order you regular dish and try someting new and have fun...enjoy!
