friendly pub. i enjoyed the dukhah crustedchickenbreast. good blend of flavours and texture.

while its true that the paella resembles risotto more, its a common fault and the food here is great. we had the dips on two occasions and they were really good and accompanied by perfectly toasted turkish bread. thechickenschnitzel was offered with a variety of sauces. i had mushroom which was just tasty enough not to overpower the chicken. my only real complaint is it's really uncomfortably hot inside.

saw menu outside on passing, went in for quick lunch of bar food. not many tables as many drinkers were standing around them. we had excellentchickenparma and s&p calamari. beef burger was a bit oily, had soaked through bottom bun. good value & good sized serves.

after 4 nights fine dining - franklin, fico, mure upper deck and aloft , this was delicious ! the steamed veggies were cooked with care and my eye fillet was perfectly cooked. husband likes hischickenparmigiana too. recommend

good pub food, reasonably priced with rapid service.

stopped in here for a quick bite with a work colleague. i had thechickenburger, which comes with fries. the bar menu is a little limited but the quality of food was good for the price paid, $14.

coffee was excellent.

recommended for a quick bite.

exceptionally impressed by the food & coffee at customs house. the sirloin steak (special) was perfectly cooked and balanced very well with the other components on the plate. stuffedchickenbreast was moist and tasty. the best meal we've had in hobart.

had been to this place a few years ago and it was wonderful. however this time the meals were very disappointing. the seafood risotto was bland and tasteless and thechickenschnitzel was dry with frozen chips and a salad consisting of lettuce and cucumber and no dressing. wait staff were great though but will not go back again.

had lunch there with colleagues yesterday. food was below average on all counts. i had achickencaesar. $24.50 for a plate of dried upchickenpieces and a bowl of overdressed chopped lettuce. others were stuck with deep fried pre frozen seafood ... greasy and horrible. good pub for a bevvy. wouldn't eat there again.

wallaby was fantastic, fish and paella also good.chickenwas too dry and did not taste like tandoori flavour. prices quite high but in general quality is also high.
