nothings better than pizza and wine. this is the definition of a good time. i ate here with a few friends and had an awesome time. the meatballs are among the best i've ever had...made by hand (i was told) and tasted awesome. we brought our own wine, had meatballs, pizza and deserts, which we were told come from italy every week...they were nothing like i've ever tried or seen before. this place has it down...simple food, great ingrediants, great service, and it seems like everyone knows everyone.

i will continue to go back again and again. and at about $15 a pizza and $5 for corking fee...i can afford to every week!!

~♥~lovely valentine's dinner~♥~!. the food was delicious! the ambiance was nice, and because it was valentine's day the place was packed with couples, families and even a single, and it all ran like a finely (olive) oiled machine . . . service was good, food arrived fast . . . just perfect, and it even ended off with a fresh-cut stemmed rose! thanks c.b.!!

~ daniele pizza!!!. ~ i must admit . . . i've never eaten a pizza with pistachios on it up until now . . .

i ordered the "daniele" pizza pie from cucina bella tonight, and it was very unusual, and also very delicious.

for $14 you get a pie with fresh mozzarella, red onion, parmigiano reggiano, rosemary, pistachios and extra virgin olive oil (no sauce).

i also noticed new hours for this establishment since my last visit. they are . . .

tues-sat 11am-10pm
sunday 11am-8pm closed monday

i also hear that they are adding pastas this summer . . .

very good pizza . . . a little on the pricey side . . . but you get what you pay for . . . pretty good pie!!!

good margherita pizza!. i tried a pizza for takeout tonight at this newly opened restaurant. the margherita pizza ($12) was good. it was a six cut pie, with san marzano tomato sauce, lightly covered with two kinds of cheeses and some fresh basil.

delicious food, great people, byob. i'm a huge fan on cucina bella. the owner is a really nice guy & always comes over to talk to my family when we go there (he even gave us a platter of meatballs last time we were there for my parents surprise 30th anniversary party). the antipasto platter is really to die for - the fresh mozzerella is amazing! the pizzas are delicious & we always try new ones and they never disappoint. some of our favorites include the margherita, cucina bella (with their homemade meatballs), and the arugula with prosciutto. their desserts are also really good - i think they're called chocolate bombs.

these were probably the only real words that came out of my mouth last night other than grumbles of satisfaction. the pizza absolutely lived up to all of its hype. we tried the tartufata and the cucina bella and devoured them both. this place was just ...win...just win win win.

the service was top notch as well. our server was more than helpful when we asked her for recommendations. even if the pizza hadn't been so flippin' amazing, i would have returned for the great service. i can't wait to come back here again and navigate the rest of the menu.

always awesome! our favorite.. this is long overdue. we have been dining at cucina bella since it opened. the food is always excellent. the pizza crust has just the right thinness and crispiness and the sauce and toppings are just right. the antipasto is delicious and nicely presented and the salads fresh. the menu is freshly prepared and reasonably priced and the service is always friendly and attentive. a big plus is the byob policy with a fair corkage fee. carmen pirain, the proprietor and main chef, has done a great job making this cozy neighborhood restaurant in the middle of suburbia a welcoming gathering spot. he is also cordial and generous to his loyal customers. we continue to go back again and again.

wonderful! a perfect place for families, a girls' lunch or just to meet some friends. generous portions and quality food. carmen and the staff are so welcoming. try it. you won't be disappointed.

really good pizza and meatballs, service needs some help. loved the food. we ordered the meatball appetizer and never received a serving spoon and could not get the attention of our waiter. we were not given clean plates for our pizza and the plates we had had sauce all over them so our pizza had to sit in the sauce - again, once the waiter moved away it was difficult to get him back. also, they need to provide serving tools with the pizza (a slicer).

a friend of mine stopped by for lunch and sat at the counter. his coffee was served lukewarm and then the waiter went away and didn't come back. after 10 minutes my friend put some money on the counter and left.

so happy to find this place!. we ate at cucina bella for the first time last night and the pizza ana special was one of the best pizza's i've ever had - fresh goat cheese, roasted red peppers, red onions, basil, and a delicious glazed crust. the service was great, the atmosphere is cozy and warm, and the building itself is charming.

for us, the best part is that the owner used to have a tiny pizzaria right around the corner from us, and we ordered takeout pizza from cestone's every week. since he left, we've tried every pizza place near us and been disappointed. we finally googled cestone's and found that he'd opened this new restaurant - cucina bella. we were so happy! even though it's a few miles further away, this is absolutely our new pizza place!

best restaurant in the south hills!. cucina bella is by far the best meal out i have had in the burgh in a looooonnng time. fantastic thin-crust pizza, gourmet-style, and reasonably priced. nice atmosphere and the staff is really great. fresh bread dipped in olive oil...yum. i wish they had more places like this in the area.

artisan pizza. absolutely delicious! all the ingredients are fresh!!! my husband and i use to live in europe and cucina bella took us back to the fours years we lived there!!!! fresh and exceptionally fantastic!!!

this not an expensive restaurant at all.

they specialize in gourmet pizza, and do an amazing job...i had an opportunity to talk to the owner, who walks around the restaurant and talks to everyone, and he really prided himself not just on getting great ingredients, but making sure they're the freshest too...this gourmet pizza is very reasonably priced.

not to mention this is a byob, so it really helps to keep the price down.

didn't realize this at the time, but you can bring anything!! really - wine, beer, liquor...it's all good.

i give this restaurant an a+, and frequent it often.

i recommend that everyone try it out and you'll agree that the guy before me doesn't know what he's talking about.

my favorite gourmet pizza. cucina bella is a gem of a resturant. the pizza taste and looks just like it does in italy. they use all the finest ingrediences to make very creative and tastey combinations
of pizza. the desserts are bindi geloto's and shipped from italy.

sensational. i went there the other night with my wife and two kids. we ordered 2 pizzas a salad and a panini. they were all amazing. you can tell they use the freshest ingrediants. all of the staff were so helpful. i will definetly be going back.

we recently tried this new place and thought it was pricey and nothing worth returning to experience.

what is great little restaurant. great service and great atmosphere! pizza was wonderful and coffee and real italian desserts were outstanding. i will be back again. thanks!

unfortunately they missed the mark on a very simple concept - espresso. we went in to get a doppio espresso macchiato and they seemed confident that they knew what that was - after sitting outside for over 20 minutes two large cups filled to the top arrived looking more like a latte than a true espresso macchiato. starbucks can get this drink right - i would have hoped an authentic italian cucina could too.
