overall experience was really bad. i expected poori with sagu and deliverytimetook more than 45 min

so i had gone with great expectations after reading about the restaurant but it wasn't upto the mark. first the restaurant is 2 storied so there isn't much of a waitingtimeand we were seated within 5-10 mins. that's like the only good part. the food isn't bad but the "benne masala dosai" was too thick for my liking and there wasn't any red chutney inside. the worst part is sambar is given only in the mornings. like wtf??? who doesn't give sambar at night and me being a sambar addict i was deeply disappointed. the "golibaje" wasnt hot and tasted okay. my main disappointment was the unavailability of sambar. the "badam milk" was nice for my liking, very sweet i.e. a lot of sugar in it. overall its a good restaurant but overhyped for nothing.

hot tiffin for breakfast with authentic nativity and great taste never ceases to amaze anyone. this is one of my alltimefavorite places in bangalore.

went after their best dishes;
butter masala dosa - so buttery and crisp on the outside while soft fluffy on the inside; the rich butter flavour melts along every bite with a bit of sweetness from their batter. the masala filling was too good and heavy on any given day

dosa - their normal dosa has the same taste with mild butter; goes well with the coconut chutney

vada - perfect heat to bite and the crispness was even on the whole; fluffy on the inside with no trace of oil, wow

rava idli - must try since this isn't our usual idli; though a bit dry, this was soft filled with coconuts and tempered with all seasonings, goes well with sambar

tea/coffee - perfend end to the perfect meal, too good


one might not wonder about the usp of this place since it's all in their food and the standards have stayed the same irrespective of any given day. 
not much of a waiting time, off-street parking, courteous service, good seating space on both levels and the ambience too gels well with the food. 
most importantly, this place is the most economical spot across bangalore.

one of the landmark eatery & a brand by itself for authentic south indian food especially masala dosas!! an iconic place listed in the top 10 must visit eateries in bangalore for its authenticity & extra ordinary taste which has been maintained since ages.

i'm not joking my mom used to love it back in college days & loves it even now & says the taste is the as delicious as it was, nothing much has changed in the place too!! isn't that great. no wonder there is a long queue to dine every morning. but guys it worth the wait, really.💯😄

i went for the firsttimewith my buddies & loved the taste which lingered on my mind for a long time. the menu is limited but everything tastes too good especially uberly delicious super crispy masala dosas ❤😘

highly recommended who visit bangalore & wanna taste some awesome food!! 👌💯

used zomato for the firsttimeto get dosa from ctr. this is a much faster option then my earlier method of using a courier to get the food.

too muchtimetaken for preparation but understood the concern...appriaciate if they can prepare quickly from next time

ctr is one of the oldest m legendary outlet to be have some lip snacking south indian food
their menu is limited but you won't be disappointed with any dish
so we tried masala dosa which was crispy n properly cooked in ghee with spicy chutney
also we had bhaji/punugulu which are small ball type was very satisfying properly cooked inside n crispy outside perfectly made
overall would definitely recommend to visit this place for breakfast/ eveningtimeto enjoy the food
