it was pretty good but overall i thought that their salmons and other fishes needed more flavor besides the constant dipping in soy sauce.

the food was absolutely delicious. it’s a small restaurant and there are customers waiting for tables to be available, but not a huge line like in large chains. it is pricey, food is delicious, portions are as expected and the service is good.

absolutely amazing sushi! the place is busy but well worth the wait. will definitely be back when visiting my family member. everything was fresh and decently priced

by far, the best sashimi i've ever had. super fresh! rolls were very good too. we got there when they opened on a weekday, so there wasn't a huge crowd, but seems like they'd be extremely packed on weekends. highly recommended by an experienced sushi eater.

we headed out to dinner to a japanese restaurant called crystal fish. i had a combination set of sashimi and chicken katsu for usd$20 after tips and tax. the meal also came with miso soup, rice, and salad. delicious meal.

food was excellent. liked the recommendation on the bento box for lunch. had dynamite roll with spicy tuna and chicken teriyaki. service was great and the staff was very friendly

yum! went for the first time for lunch and we were very impressed. the lunch specials really can't be beat--love the bento boxes that you can customize! and i didn't feel jipped at all with the portions in the bento box. definitely left with a fully belly!

...i prefer cozy traditional seafood restaurants to enormous ones that make me feel as if i should be wearing stilettos, tight pants, and a scandalous top because apparently a club atmosphere is de rigueur for japanese restaurants these days...

last night here. 3 nights in a row...awesome!!!
no other place in monterey in my mind.
staff, prompt. chefs, spot on.
hope i get invited back next year to pebble beach. just the sushi is worth the trip.
we took a second in class at pebble...what could be better!

best sushi to date.... perhaps it's because i live in the midwest, but this was the freshest, best sushi i've ever had. we had two maki rolls and they were extremely well balanced and delicate. would go back again for sure. i suggest the big eye roll and the cherry blossom roll. friendly/prompt service.

ate there tonight and had a fabulous meal. we had a little of everything and couldn't stop ordering more! this place has the most delious salmon sushi in the area. the service was great and the line of people waiting to get in tonight tells the story of this great locals hangout!

if u like sushi, good sushi, eat!. their sushi is the best in the area and reasonably priced. its not a place that eeks ambiance but the sushi is why you are there and will come back.

we are visiting from phoenix and crystal fish was recommended. awesome sushi and food period. the wife and i ordered bento box lunches and were very pleased. i picked the sashimi,firecracker roll and beef short ribs. great food and great price.
