great place - not your typical italian restaurant in tx - more ny style.  i have never had a bad meal here and service has always been first class.

stopped to enjoy a beverage at bar. excellent blood orange martinis. decided to eat, the pizza di carne was excellent. veal meatballs are hard to find. sat at bar. bartender service was exceptional with a full bar.

it was pretty dark in this place and you couldn't tell which door was the entrance. we waited a long time for the bread, my lobster ravioli was warm/cold but the shrimp was hot. tried to get waiters attention but he took too long so i ate it anyway. serving sizes were really small for the price.

i have eaten at crudo at least five times.  it  is cozy, warm and friendly.  the food in my opinion is outstanding.  my two favorite dishes are the chilean sea bass and the veal mushroom tortellini.  the sea bass has a great butter flavor with mushrooms and red pepper.  i have tried unsuccessfully to replicate this at home.  it is the best chilean sea bass i've ever had.  the veal tortellini is my favorite meal there - and i don't even like veal.  you just have to try it.  enjoy this little gem!!

this spot was not a place that pulled right up on this app. i had to do some digging and search some other restaurant sites before i found it. i am glad i did! if you can get past smelling like you just left a campfire when you leave, the food, entertainment (duo band -no vocals), and atmosphere make up for the smoky aroma. i had the meat trio and my guest had the tenderloin. either of these options i would recommend. great open fire flavor. the star of the show was the watermelon salad with lump crabmeat and balsamic reduction. enjoy! i did!

we were disappointed with lunch at this place. first of all the gnochi's we ordered had not meat in the menu description but the dish was served with meat. salad we ordered was also so so..lastly the waiter/server could not describe the dishes succinctly. i don't recommend this place.

crudo is a wonderful little restaurant.  they have managed to blend cozy, countryside and european bistro into one place.  the host and servers are superb.  they instantaneously say hello and get your name on a list.  everyone interacts and makes you feel welcome.  the decor is fairly simple with 4x6 wood planks running the length of one wall.  shadowboxes, mirrors and edison style lights break up the straight lines.  the other wall is white painted acme bricks that make up the focal point of the bar.  a huge wood fired oven fills the back of the room.  two rows of tables fill up every bit of space available on the floor.  it's really warm and inviting.

the food is just as great.  we started with a sparkling blood orange martini and loved it.  the free brioche bread was fresh and had olive oil, feta cheese and olives added on top.  the prime rib crustini was fabulous.  the meat was so tender and blended perfectly with the gorgonzola cheese, onions and balsamic vinaigrette.  for me it was the best thing all night.  the watermelon salad was unique, fresh and very good.  all three of our entrees were top notch.  the crust on the parmesan chicken was so good.

everything about this place is just awesome.  i did not give a full five stars.  the wait here is really long because of the popularity.  also, it's very loud when it's packed.  on some nights they have live music.  it's beautiful, but it does make it even harder to hear.

went last night for our first time. we were greater instantly (by the manager?) with a handshake and introduction. we started out with drinks at the bar while we waited on a table. we ended up waiting about 30 minutes longer than we were quoted, but we could see they were busy. one of the servers, james, noticed we were waiting awhile and made it a point to check on our table and keep us updated on the wait time. we needed up sitting in his section about 5 minutes later. james guided us through the best menu options. i ordered the chilean sea bass special and was undecided on wine so he said he would make the selection for me and brought out a chardonnay that complimented my meal. we had such a lovely time! highly recommend this quaint little place and ask for james if you go.

great food, best service anywhere. asked chef to tweak risotto as an entree; yummy. try this cozy comfy place; it will become a favorite.

great night. i had the stuffed salmon and my wife had the carne pizza. it all tasted great. the pizza is big enough for two people to share. the server was great too. he was extremely polite and very knowledgeable.

great atmosphere, amazing food and excellent service! this is a must try if you are in the frisco/plano area!

first time to try crudo and must say we were impressed. very small, very quaint - more like a northern california than a northern dallas ambiance.

the menu is ample and wine list is notable. in fact, the wine selection alone is good cause to try this restaurant. a great selection of unique and excellent cabs is enough magnetic attraction to bring me back (try the chappellet signature cabernet- excellent).

the salads are homemade with fresh ingredients. the fish dishes are great. the service is superb and knowledgeable. note: if you are in a hurry this is not the place for you. this is casual dining at its best.

overall a great neighborhood restaurant that is worth leaving your own neighborhood to get to.

so glad we found this place! it's is very quaint and romantic. the service was great and the food was delicious. we had the gnocchi with tomato cream sauce and my fiance had the parmesan crusted chicken. it's a little pricey but it a nice place to go for a romantic dinner.

great local place. the food and service are excellent. i recommend this neighborhood gem to all my friends.
