spent our first year anniversary here.

service is top-notch; booking details were keenly observed. take note that we used our one-day membership card to avail a discount on all items. all staff, from their front office(rocelle*) down to our servers (jeng* and the others) were very courteous, pleasing and helpful.

ambiance: amber themed surroundings as you move your head from their flaming kitchen towards their collection of dalmore on their bar. however there are lots of shadows due to hanging stuff will kind of ruin your insta ideas.

food: we were served by fresh organic bread while waiting for our orders. we really liked the goat cheese that came with it.
1. cru appetizer sampler (p900+)
we were glad that our server recommended this. the goose liver sample is our favorite; the scallops are our second pick. the rest were good but forgettable.
2. us cab rib eye 350g (p3200)
cooked perfectly medium to our liking. we eat steak on rare occasions and this time i got to taste the "masculinity" of the meat which is known for this type of meat. not as soft and tender like wagyu but still has the distinct own flavor. still has those "litids" here and there but nothing really to frown of. perfect with asparagus, not much with potato gratin that we chose.

my wife really liked their surprise! they even left a card with personal messages from their staff which completed our night

we went during their sunday roast. it was unlimited steak at only php1,300.00 net. i did not expect much since it was only 1,300– - maybe the quality of the steak would be inferior as compared to its regular steak. surprisingly, i was wrong. the steak was perfect - - tender, tasty and fatty!!! i loved their apple pie (not the picture) too.

my to go place and favorite restaurant in the metro for quality and good steak, especially rib eye. their wine list is extensive and not over priced. i've been going here for almost 8 years now and the quality plus the service are always consistent and top notch.

we went here for their sunday roast unlimited offer during thier 11.30am to 2pm timeslot.we arrived 11.30 am sharp and had a room reserved for 8 pax 2 weeks back.

i think i don't need to descibe the quality of their service since it was superb. 5/5 for me.

this also holds true for their ambience and cleanliness 5/5.

the quality of food was superb as well. i chose the mushroom soup, it lacked a little salt but it was good. the marbled potatoes and carrots were seasoned just right. the us certified angus roast beef tasted great! i had it cooked medium rare on my first and second serving and man were they soft and tender. you can taste the eseence of charcoal in the steaks. the dipping sauce also matches well with the steak but i prefer eating it as is or with salt. for my third serving i had it cooked medium. it was still soft and tender but the grill was hotter since there were already a lot of people when they took this order thus the edges were a little charred and it was also good! for my fourth serving i had it done medium well. this was already a little harder compared to the other 3 so i think this is as far as you want your steaks to be cooked. the sides were charred making it tastier. the fifth serving, which my daughter had for free since she's just 4 y/o, was cooked weel done. please just don't have your steaks done this way, it is a waste. it's dry and hard. the dessert, the apple pie, was so good! it wasn't too sweet and the aples didn't over whelm the pie. food quality is at 4.5/5.

value for money 5/5. for 1,300 net per head it was worth it. our total bill was around 6k, for 6 adults and 2 children below the age of 5. we even had a botrle of wine with that and my daughter ate for free.

will definitely come back for more (if there's no traffic)

p.s. don't forget to reserve seats because the place was packed when we left.

cru steakhouse’s unlimited cru steaks sundays started early in february this year (although i think they already offered this before). the promo is not just unlimited steaks, but a 3-course menu specifically available only during lunch. . the sunday roast menu includes a starter, with a choice of creamy mushroom soup or garden salad; a main course, which is the unlimited serving of us certified angus roasted beef, plus a single serving of sauteed root vegetables, and herb roasted baby potatoes; and a dessert, which is the classic apple pie.

went here to celebrate my dad's birthday, their servers are very approachable and more than welcome to assist. food was delicious.

returned to crul steakhouse after our first great dinner 6 month ago... not only once, but twice during a 3 night stay in manila!

we have not been disappointed and had another amazing dinner prepared by the chefs with very attentive and friendly service.

i highly recommend the taster starter, a choice of 9 great starters in small portions. a must try.

unfortunately i haven't had the chance trying a mystery box, but find the idea of it very tempting and would highly recommend everybody to give it a try. with those professional chef it will be for sure a great dinner!

really fantastic experience at their weekly sunday roast! two friends and i went for a little galentine’s day celebration in february. we were seated at a nice booth. the service was wonderful, they were attentive without being suffocating and we never had to look far for the waitstaff.

the food was delicious. our steaks came out at a little rare at first, but this was immediately rectified by the staff when we asked if we could have them re-grilled. the salad was fresh and crisp and dessert was lovely.

overall, a fantastic dining experience. i’m planning on going back and am on the waiting list for reservations in april!

we had some balikbayan visitors staying at marriot. we wanted a place that was convenient for them and yummy for the tummy. quite a unique experience. they had small little details that made this a memorable experience.

the table side caesar salad was both educational and tasty. once they are done mixing the dressing, they will let you taste it to ensure it meets your expectations. the food in general was awesome. our server, isabelle, was awesome. attentive, informative, and provided service with a smile.

only critique was on the table side introduction to the meat. while the experience was unique, i think a higher impact introduction via a tasting plate would have been better.

definitely a must visit place for a business meetings and very special occasions.

recently, my boyfriend and i dined at cru since i've been craving for a good steak for so long. also, it was for my post-birthday, our 26th monthsary, and pre-valentine's date. 

when we got seated, we were given the menu and recommendations. the waiter that served us was very accommodating and love how the ambiance was romantic at the same time, alive.

for starters, we got the crab cake, and i must say, it was very delicious. it was made with real cram meat, and the texture was perfect. for our main course, i got the 250g long fed gold striploin, cooked medium rare with whipped potato, and black truffle risotto on the side. the steak was juicy and full of flavor, i loved it so much! plus, the creamy whipped potato was a good side dish since the black truffle risotto has a strong taste, it balanced out the flavors. but don't get me wrong, i also loved the risotto, i think out of all the risottos i've tried, it's one of the best.

for my boyfriend, he got the 250g long fed gold rib-eye cooked medium well with baked 4-cheese potatoes and roasted marble potatoes. it was his first time trying a legit premium steak and he loved it! the texture of the rib-eye was tender and juicy, so flavorful. plus, his sides were bomb as well. (i tried them myself!)

overall, i recommend this restaurant for couples for that intimate dinner - will surely go back for more! also, if you are a member of club marriott, you'll get 30% off on top of your bill what a steal!

first of all, staff was very friendly and accommodating. their service was fast and efficient. atmosphere is amazing, and very intriguing since you can see the chefs preparing your food.

i had the php4,500 4-course meal. really worth the money if you can eat a lot...because i couldn't. the crab cake was delicious, crunchy and fluffy at the same time. however, the salmon tartare that came with it needed some more acidity to cut through the fishy taste from the salmon. the mushroom soup that came after was creamy, and the mushroom chunks with the truffle oil took the soup to a next level. sorbet is coconut flavoured, which was a nice palette cleanser.

finally, the steak. at this point, i was 3/4 full from all the other courses. but the glutton was real. at first the steak was overdone (i asked for a medium), because it came in as well done. the staff were apologetic but it's fine, mistakes like that happen. the re-fired another steak and it was perfect. steak was juicy and tender, i recommend asking for some salt and pepper to season the steak with though. they provided a generous amount of sides which consisted of grilled asparagus and cajun wedges. again, you may need some seasoning for the asparagus. on the other hand, the cajun wedges were too salty.

i had to stop after the steak. i couldn't even continue for dessert. however they gave a small glass of sherry to pair the dessert with and it's a unique drink. please do try.


overall, i loved the experience. would visit again for sure.

they really do make the experience special at cru. you really feel like you're in a fine dining restaurant. that said, the food itself, in my opinion, could be better. it's not bad but of course you should expect only the best with these prices. the biggest order of steak that we shared between 4 people was big enough but it had a lot of tough parts, to the point that i'd be forced to just swallow chunks because it was impossible to chew. not sure if the other steak offerings are a lot better but judging from just what we had, i wouldn't recommend cru to anyone who wants good steak. the appetizer sampler was good, though and we found it fun to try all the offerings. we especially liked the scallops and foie gras.

we had our first anniversary here and it went very well. we had the 900g prime rib (medium well) which came with 5 different sides and a glass of their house wine. other than the generous size of servings, quality is at it's best as well. the ambience was so fancy, romantic, so intimate. the crew members were very attentive and in fact, they actually served us a complimentary cake for our anniversary. the total experience was amazing. definitely worth the price.

we loved our experience with cru steakhouse!

we celebrated our 5th anniversary here and we made the right choice. everything they served was extraordinary. the bread was great, the appetizer sampler was also good! we loved the mushroom soup & the foie gras the most among the 9 appetizer samples!
for our main course, we had the specialty steak at 500 grams and it was amazing. we wanted it medium rare and they served it sliced in 5. 3 for my boyfriend and 2 for me. it was enough serving for 2 people. the steak was really soft and it literally melts in your mouth.
the service was also superb! they checked on us all the time if we needed anything and the red wine they recommended went really well with the steak.
overall the experience was great. they even gave us a free cake with a happy anniversary label with both our names! plus a personalized card with the crew's own handwriting! 😊 shoutout to our server, ms. jeng. she was really helpful & friendly.

after trying this restaurant, i would say that cru is the best overall experience i've had for a steakhouse.

for starters, we ordered their ceasar salad. i loved the fact that they would toss the salad in front of you and have you taste it so you can customize it according to your liking. then they gave us their house bread. i would say that i loved the spinach and parmesan bread.

of course for the main, we ordered the 350g prime rib eye. i say that the 350g was just right for 2. it went with 2 sides so we got the fries and truffle risotto. the steak was very tender and flavorful. i like the marinate as the taste way just right. the sides were perfect too. the was they cooked it was perfect. it was pretty consistent all through out. the fries was pretty standard . since we are truffle lovers, we loved the truffle risotto.

on top of the great food, their service was great. they had several interaction with us to check if we were ok and if we loved the food. it is also nice to see the staff very smiley and accomodating.

i loved the total experience that i'd love to come back.
