crico's pizza & subs

yummy pizza. we always order in pizza to our condo fromcrico'spizza when we hit orange beach. my family loves it and we always talk about it when we get back to arkansas. always saying "we can't wait to go back". well... we are in june and we will be ordering again. we can't wait!

no fork restaurant. we visitedcrico'saround 1:30 on a saturday. the pizza (what there was on the buffet) was nothing to write home about. fresh pizza was very slow to be put out. the only silverware offered were knives. i heard the girl behind the counter keep telling people they didn't have any clean forks. the place was pretty nasty. i'm surprised it received a score of 95. the salad bar was a mess and very unappetizing looking. the tables had not been bused and i had to clean off one for us to eat at. i could see through to the kitchen from where i was sitting and no one in the kitchen was wearing any type of gloves while they were handling the pizza and salad ingredients. nothing looked like it had been wiped down in quite a while. pizza was not bad and the buffet price was reasonable. so if you don't mind eating pizza in a less than sparkling clean atmosphere, this is your place.

cheesy greasy awesomeness. we all needed a break from seafood, so we ordered up a couple pies and crico sticks for carry-out. the crico sticks are cheesesticks with pepperoni - amazing. this was just what we were craving. try thecrico'sfavorite, the jalapenos add a little bit of spicy to the meats pizza. we got 2 mediums - 1 supreme and 1crico'sfavorite, 1 large cheese, and 2 orders of crico sticks for 7 adults and still had plenty of leftovers for later that night.

orderedcrico'sfavorite and hot wings for delivery. said it would be around 45 minutes but arrived after 30. hot wings were great but the pizza could have been as little better. i think it probably should have been cooked for a little longer, maybe make the onions taste a little less "raw." cheap pizza though!

we ordered delivery...a cheese pizza,crico'sfavorite, and a hot steak and cheese sub...it was all outstanding. the sub was especially delicious. i would highly recommend this place and will certainly eat here again on future visits!

this place is a really good hole in the wall! when looking for a good pizza place, that's not touristy this is it!crico's"the favorite" was piled high with meat and the crust was fantastic. would definitely eat here again.

mystery. i dont know why this place has such a high rating???? first thing you will notice is that nobody is eating here! they do make a mean and greasy down and dirty pepperoni pizza though! we do order out fromcrico'sbut dont dine in here, its just weird and the salad bar is fail

strong pizza contender, bargain buffet. my quest for really good new york style pizza in this part of the word has been frustrating me for close to a year. the best place so far has been papa's pizza at pelican place, which also has a buffet.

when i sampled the buffet atcrico'stoday, which was a bargain at $6.99 for about eight or more different pizzas and soda bar, plus a small salad bar with iceberg lettuce and toppings, i was impressed with the product.

really liked all aspects of their pizzas and it was nice to have two dessert pizzas as well, but a pan of ziti was mediocre. chef boyardee in a can would be a step up from that. so this is now on my best pizza in lower alabama short list.

and i don't know who the young cashier was, but her eyes are beyond gorgeous.

my boyfriend and i went tocrico'sfor the lunch buffet. i did not enjoy the atmosphere. i felt very dirty. the table cloths and chairs look like they're 30 years old. they were faded and ripped to shreds. i wouldn't even consider the buffet a buffet. you had maybe three options for pizza, one kind of pasta, and a dinky salad bar. don't get me wrong, the food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. i wouldn't go back. overall, the food was ordinary and the actual restaurant sucked.

my boyfriend said, "it felt like we were eating pizza out of a janitors closet".

fabuloso!. our first day into town, we were tired and looking for a quiet place to grab a bite.crico'swas exactly what we were looking for. low key place, some might even call it a dive. but the pizza was wonderful. cheese from crust to crust,w with a nice golden brown layer on top.

fave. one of my most favorite pizza places. although it is pizza and it is greasy...crico'smay be a little too greasy.
