america's classic sandwiches done right!. my wife has been "craving" grilled cheese sandwiches ever since we drove by this littlebistroon american fork main street. so when she saw it was national grilled cheese day today, we knew we had to try it. and i'm glad we did!
they have fantastic grilled cheese sandwiches and the tomato basil soup was perfect for dipping (good as a side soup too). the sign in thebistrosays that it takes 10-15 minutes to melt the cheese just right and it really did take that long. but it was worth it because the cheeses were melted perfectly on thickly cut slices of toasted bread.
my wife tried the kiss (keep it simple) sandwich with avocado and cheddar cheese. i tried the pesto sandwich and it was pretty good too. the employee said that on fridays and saturdays they have a turkey, bacon sandwich that people absolutely love. so i'll have to come back for that one.
i recommend this place to everyone, and not just because it's national grilled cheese day. we will be going back soon.
