counter culture cafe - dubai marriott harbour hotel & suites

counter culture cafe or ccc is a perfect spot for outdoor casual dining or just having drinks located at marriot harbor hotel. i tried their vegetarian burger that was well served on rye bread stuffed with veggie patty and fresh salad along with some hand cooked crisp. the ambience is very refreshing and staff service is great. their prices are little high but worth the quality and service being offered. i can definately recommend this place to try.

went for a friday brunch.. spread is perfect as we are not really into rice and meats. they have a salad counter (to be honest never had seen kale in buffets except here), antipasti counter, shawarma and sandwich station, pasta station and fresh and tasty pizza station, dessert station pecan tart was the star and we all went crazy with the waffle and crepe station. there are also hot food items thumbs up for the vegetable dimsum! staff are warm and very helpful. ambiance is so relaxed, al fresco dining is also available.

i came in yesterday for a light dinner. the restaurant as a whole was a great concept. it was nicely designed, and the menu items are quite specially done, however not perfectly executed. dont get me wrong, the food was good, we ordered the crostini (tomato and mozzarella & jerk chicken and emmental), pulled chicken tacos, and the blueberry and quinoa with pomegranate sauce. the crostini was delicious, but came a little bit too cold, if it was warmer, you could tell it would have been that much better. the blueberry and quinoa was a great concept, however a little too sweet for my taste, (i still had a few bites, the mixture of ingredients went well together, but i would have preferred a lighter sauce), the pulled chicken tacos were really the greatest i tried! crunchy, well seasoned, and just a great quick bite! the staff was insanely friendly, so i hate to say but it was a little slow, but they did seem understaffed. keep in mind, she smiled so much and was so kind i didnt mind the slow service.

hands down the best service so far!! the food was pretty good and the servers were awesome! hard working people and very friendly. it was my friend's birthday during the stay and they even prepared a small cookie/cake for him. definitely recommend it. and on top of that the price was great.

tried this place for breakfast as it's just round the corner & they had a groupon deal on.

whilst it was a nice spread, to be honest, if i had to pay full price i would have been disappointed.

the juice bar is great with a machine to have freshly squeezed oj. they also had a variety of other juices in small bottles which were cute.

fresh fruits, muesli, cheese, pastries, cereals, egg live station, pancakes, waffles & variety of hot breakfast items are available.

i tried the scrambled egg & it was a tad dry for me. the poached egg however was great.

service is good especially the chefs around the food who are making sure everything is to your tastes.

my tea order took ages though & for some reason they served in a takeaway cup rather than normal cutlery. my friends coffee came in a normal porcelain mug.

nice to try the place once but there are better breakfast places in marina

i went to counter culture cafe for the ramadan iftaar buffet. the place has amazing service and hospitality. they were having those ramadan tents which gave a very authentic feeling of arabian culture with arabian music. the food was average. it was good that they had a mix of cuisines because arabic food can sometimes become very plain and boring, especially when you are used to indian spicy food.  i loved their shawarma and a dish which i had for the first time: lamb ouzi. it is very similar to mandi - roasted meat served with rice. i also had their dessert called umm ali which is very similar to indian kheer.

i went for the ifaat buffet yesterday!! was a small yet quite a good buffet.. with laban and arabic drinks included ..
service was so prompt and good .. as soon as u finish they come to clear your place;the the glass of water if empty.. was impressive!

early morning had arrived for christmas breakfast . warm welcome by the manager , as i looked at the buffet was very much eager to try almost everything , 3 love cooking stations they had for eggs , waffles & pancakes . loved the breakfast buffet as each of the items were fresh . the best part about this place was the service that was been offered by mrs. juliet & mr. hamadi they where so friendly and generous honestly this was the best hospitality and service after the 7 star burj al arab hotel .

over all , counter culture is simply amazing when it comes to breakfast buffet 👍

i had never heard of counter culture until i recieved a voucher from zomato for their breakfast buffet.
needless to say, it was lavish; right from salads, bread to pancakes and waffles.
a big shout out to their staff, who were extremely hospitable! the chef and the waitstaff kept checking if everything was fine.
the next awesome thing about this place is that they provide fresh juice which is included in the buffet. hot chocolate is not quite impressive.
everything tasted pretty decent. the chocolate muffins were great! eggs were well made and so were the pancakes and waffles. they have kept loads of nutella, so that's brilliant!
there was salmon, trout, ham, pork - which were all fresh and good!
to sum it up, it was a good experience!

lovely place , very cosy , just around the corner, fun place to grab a bite on your way back from a nice sun bath . beautiful terrace , was informed by one of the filipino servers that this place is going to have a major  rehaul , its gonna become in to nice cafe , ccc she called it "counter culture cafe ". 
anyways , hoping to visit this place again .

nice calm place with wonderful team onboard who make you feel at ease . they always want to know what are your favorites . love my breakfasts at counter culture. :)

staff is friendly and always remember you and how you like your meal to be cooked, makes you feel welcome and kinda important.

coming to the food, the menu is kept simple and minimal so you get to try dishes which have been mastered by the chef. i quite like the concept of this cafe since it doesn't just provides the earthy charm but also dishes which are healthy.

love this place and definitely going back for more!

this is on the ground floor of the marriott hotel in the marina, this is a good place to catch up with friends as there is usually seats available. staff were really attentive and the food was tasty. and there is a good selection of snacks and the coffee is smooth.
well worth it.

a really decent breakfast buffet as attached to the marriott hotel. free wifi also a bonus, and didn't have any internet set up! the juice was fresh pressed, the honey was served straight from the comb, the staff was attentive and informative.  we made sure to eat our fill here every morning.
