a colorful place. i was surprised how large the place was when i stopped in for breakfast. the inside is so colorful with pictures on the walls for variousmenuitems. it is such an inviting place.
i ordered cora’s special, a couple of eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, a crepe, and some potatoes. it was a good amount of food. i had earlier looked at the websitemenuand saw all these colorful made for photos plates of food. they like to use fruit. when my breakfast arrived it was a colorful plate of food that looked like a picture. i was very impressed with the plating of mine and others i saw being delivered. that attention to detail in a breakfast place is great.
looks good, how does it taste? the eggs were cooked properly, the bacon excellent. i prefer a greasier sausage but i suppose this one was healthier and still good.
service was not as fast as i would have liked. the servers were fast, they were just doing a lot of things. cora’s is great for sitting down and enjoying your breakfast, maybe not that great for grabbing a quick bite on the way to work. they sincerely wanted me to be pleased with my visit, and i was. if you are in a hurry you may want to mention it up front to help speed things along.
all in all i believe this was my favorite breakfast place so far in toronto.
