this is a great little neighborhood restaurant. it's setup with a shotgun cafeteria line, about 12 feet long, with a choice of salads and desserts first, but then the main attraction: the steam table. it includes meats (southern-comfort fare ranging from catfish to meatloaf) and vegetables cooked the way grandma would prepare them. you tote your own trays to tables that feature some chairs and some benches -- kind of picnic style. the food is always great, and weloveto go there on friday or saturday nights on the way to the theater or movies because we know we can get in and out in 20 or 30 minutes. typical meal costs about $10.
