on first glance cohiba looks like one of the many pubs in goa, but you soon realize how well cohiba stands out from the rest.

the food is amazing, seating casual and service prompt. but the thing aboit cohiba which makes it stand out is its exceptional music and the great crowd! the band on thenightwas awesome and knew how to work the crowd, which itself was so energetic and awesome!

definitely the must go place for anightout in goa!

this was on one of the saturdays, 6th of may, when the place is supposed to be open till 4, we came here after we attended a family wedding around 2.30 as it being just few nights in goa.. place was pumping up until around 3am then the crowd kept getting lesser...
i decided to place my order so i ordered for my usual brandy with hot water at the bar. on receiving the bill we noticed that the bartender added water to the bill as a mixer.. so on questioning him for the same like why did he do so cuz we were there over there the previous day, that's fri and he didn't do this with any of the drinks we ordered and i just haf asked for a plain glass of water which he, himself gave me.. and he kept denying saying he wasn't here.. and that being said we still told him about how he shouldn't be charging for water as a mixer.. cuz this wasn't the first time i had this drink with hot water.. so we tried explaining this to him and talking it out but within minutes this guy instead of getting what we're trying to say to him with all arrogance said "are you gonna pay the bill or no?! vynelan majell d'costa still tried making him understand nicely and this bartender on repeat with his arrogance kept saying that?! and continued to say "you are nothing to us!" like what the hell! then we got in an argument with him and the other guy is coming and apologizing to us..on his behalf! like so much arrogance that he walked away... and it was that moment when i din want to ruin mynightbut then what was done was done, this guy had the audacity to still further throw this sort of an attitude! and the manager then came ahead to apologize on his behalf.. and that bartender had no decency to talk.. for him to judge behind f the counter or not wad totally unacceptable... i wouldn't take but just cuz of the manager we kept quiet then.. cuz everyone else was apologizing but this a*****e.. we didn't want to ruin ournightanymore.. and there after we left after finishing our drinks..
i wish i could keep the bill with me..but they took the bill back and let the drink be..
also this was one of the northeastern bartender with spiked hair.. i couldn't get his name in this whole situation either.. the other northeastern bartender with the long hair kept apologizing on his behalf!!!
this guy needs to know that he has no right to talk to anyone in any situation this way....he is no one to! and to this day my blood boils for letting the situation go then to save mynightfrom a bad mood..
just do something about your rude staff!!

first of all i was denied entry on saturdaynightsaying we have a dress code where men have to wear shoes. when i returned the next day wearing shoes they allowed people with slippers inside. staff was rude and didn't allow to sit on a particular table even though the place was empty.

food is very average where they missed to put salt in my appetizer

went there on a saturdaynightand called in advance to make a reservation and they told me on the phone that i could just walk in . when we reached there i was told that all the tables were reserved. finally after arguing i got a table and then started thenightmare . the waiters don't understand hindi or english , don't know of any of the beverages or the dishes . the staff is clueless, disinterested and rude. the food isn't anything to rave about. you are better off staying in your hotel then waste your time here.

if you want to chill and enjoy yournightto live music, this is the place to be! its got the perfect ambience with amazing service! must have been to a 100 places in goa but this place beats them hands down!

it was a lovely vibe and the atmosphere was really amazing. they say wednesday is the day to go here, i was there on a non wednesdaynightbut things were still busy and music was super lovely.
the calamari was quite amazing.
sorry but, the gelato wasn't gelato at allll. so maybe call it ice cream?
service could be tad more prompt.
however, i see great potential in the food and place. and as said, the music sets you up for a lovely evening. so,

i don’t recommend this place at all ..being from bombay i don’t feel the need to visit a similar vibe place in goa ..lacks authenticity, boring crap music on a frinight, unfriendly staff and waiters ..food was very ok ..we ordered for a ragda pattice which is served with cheese and jalapeño it was cold , we sent it back , few minutes later he got it back and it was as cold as before , so never mind !! hukkas are priced at 1000 and above ! while paying the bill which was 1400 , i gave the waiter 1500 , few minutes later he says i gave him 700 , what a lie !!! he thought he could get away with this lie but it was surely not a mistake from our end as we checked the notes before giving as i thought i gave an extra note of 500 ! and thankfully all the notes have different colors so u can’t really fumble! we weren’t drunk nor are we colour blind nor cheats to mistake 2 notes of 500 for 100s ..plain cheating !! i called the manager as no one was available at that time ! if we were at fault why would we even bother to call ! anyways sans the money issue which was a big put off , the food , ambience or music was nothing to come back to ! if your going to goa there are many more better places which may not be insta famous but amazing food n live bands ! this place is packed only due to tribe mentality it has nothing really to offer ! it lacks a vibe , so if you wanna just go there to show off on social media it’s the place for you

suitable location for fine dining andnightlife. great ambiance with good crowd. live music on the day i visited was a plus. active staff and quick service. pet friendly as well. spacious dance floor and latenightparty options. street parking and secluded location are the downsides. overall a must visit if in north goa.

wonderfulnightspent with live music. the band was awesome with dj in between the breaks. crowd was awesome and best part, no entry fees at all.

two left feet or a balanced feet, this is the place to be if it's about some real dancing scene in goa. the band performance is mindblowing, enough space super chic crowd...don't bother aboutnightlife in goa is this is on your mind. the band called alcatrazz was just mind blowing, what an amazing singers they had.!! fida on them now!!

food.. ..interesting fusion snacking with some great cocktails...starting with my all time favourite mojito. some quick snacking next to the dancing floor and just go mad dancing ...this is exactly what we did.

please go there and live your dancer life in goa .dance line no one is watching .:)

this is the worst place to go. if you don't have any plans then stay at your room and chill.. but don't spoil yournightby going to this place.

the manager was extremely rude. did not let us enter coz a friend of mine was dressed in shorts and t-shirt and slippers. could have said it in a politer way but instead chose to say, "we do not allow people dressed in kacha and banian". the place was empty on a saturdaynightand seeing the attitude of the manager i don't think i'm ever visiting it again. and if there is a dress.code in your place it would make sense to clearly spell it out on social media platforms. highly disappointed with the attitude of the manager and would not recommend this place !

so lastnightwe had a great evening at cohiba. we were invited to come back for retronighton saturdaynightby the guy serving us.

however this place has a rule on saturday nights which wasn't informed to us.

apparently in this modern day world that to in a place like goa (beach and sand people!) - you need to wear shoes to get into a place like this. wow! are we still under brit rule?

tried explaining the situation to the manager but he infact, questioned us on who even invited us and that they can't allow this. extremely rude.

okay i understand rules are rules. but the way you speak to the customer is really important. they probably are at their peak now, but they would soon loose their clientele with a manager like that.

after all this when we tried to buy shoes from them in order to get it. we were screamed and pushed at by the body guard thinking we were barging in. what on earth?!?

the manager really needs training on guest management and needs to learn how to deal with situations like these. extremely disappointed. however considering the management, i expect no change to happen.

also food is extremely average. what really sells this place is the music. honest, unbiased opinion.

cohiba transforms after 11pm. the crowd is far superior than found at most watering holes in goa these days. we visited on a saturdaynightand the band playing was outstanding. it was a spectacular experience because the music and indoor spaces are perfect for partying and dancing, while the instagram-worthy outside - is best for a laidback sheesha, beers and food.

all beverages are quite economical, and on weekends the place stays open until as late as 4am. what more could you ask for?
