yuck. look, i would like nothing more than to sit here and say that this local independent shop makes bettercoffeethan starbucks. but then i would be lying. i am not saying that starbuckscoffeeis outstanding. i am saying that until these mom-n-pop, local, independentcoffeeshops start makingcoffeedrinks that actually taste good, then i am going to stop going to acoffeeshop and blowing 5 bucks on a latte unless it's at starbucks.
yes, the owners here were very nice.
yes, the shop is tastefully decorated and relaxing.
yes, i'm sure the (previously mentioned by other reviews) house-made foods are great (although i did not try them).
but if you are going to be acoffeeshop, then you gotta know how to make coffee. you have to know how to make all kinds of coffee, from regularcoffeeto espresso to french press, etc.
i ordered a latte here and it was a watery, weird tasting mess. it was awful.
i would not go back. i notice that none of the reviews before mine actually talk about the coffee.
