great thai food!!!. this is the best thai food in dfw by far. the food and service is excellent. i try to make a visit at least once a week. i highly recommend trying this place out.

enjoyable lunch!. finally gave this place a try after passing by it several times to a friend's house. very nice atmosphere and really cool, unique decors in such an unexpected location. the coconut soup was the highlight for my first visit. definitely will come back.

food is okay. pricy & so so location. not worth a visit.

food was fantastic. the food was amazing. we had:
shrimp summer rolls - delicious, the sauce that comes with it is so good with the fresh greens and shrimp.

sweet corn patty - one of my favorite parts of the night. i will probably get this appetizer every time. the sauce that comes on the side is sweet and sour cucumber sauce.

coconut chicken - thumbs up. we got the chicken with the sticky rice.

shrimp and tofu pad thai - really good, i was getting really full at this point.

fresh mango over coconut sweet rice - how have i gone this long without trying this dessert anywhere? by far my favorite part of the meal. i love mango, rice, and coconut. the presentation was fantastic.

the server knew i had never tasted green tea ice cream so she brought us some. very nice and family oriented place. i will probably eat there once a week.

coconut thai recently opened on the corner of webb chapel and belt line. the owner, marayat gary, was a former partner of asian mint, which is a popular asian fusion restaurant.

absolutely delicious! friendly service, good size portions! the coconut soup was sooooo good and even the thai tea was better here! can't wait to go back!

my, my, my... a lucky find!. my husband and i went to coconut thai grill the other night, and it was extremely pleasant. the environment looked very nice, not too bright or too dark. the paintings and the decor were very unique. i was told the painted and made everything themselves. what a group of talented people! the wait staff was very friendly and helpful but not subservient... which was quite refreshing to us.

the highlight however had to be the food! we wanted to try something new that we could not find at other places. so our waitress suggested that we try coconut chicken, an original dish of grill chicken meat marinated with coconut milk and thai spices. it came with this "sticky" rice, which we had not had before. we thought the chicken was one of tastiest thai dishes we had ever eaten! another dish we had was hawaiian chicken, battered chicken meat stir fried with sweet pineapple sauce. it tasted very very delicious... slightly... (only slightly) similar to orange chicken but not as sweet or orangey.

we capped off our meal with their house special desserts as well... some green tea cake and a thai custard cake with sweet sticky rice. both were delicious. we really liked the green tea cake because it wasn't very sweet. the texture was very nice. anyway... it was a wonderful experience for us. we are eagerly looking forward to going back to coconut thai grill to try something else new and original.

wow!!! excellent thai food. great selection of dishes to meet anyone's taste. combination of spices makes this unique and stands out from other thai grills. the atmosphere is welcoming with beautiful paintings throughout.

good solid food. i really like the pad thai noodles with beef, fried won tons, and fried spring rolls are excellent.

really nice place with food to match. i was in town and a friend of mine took me to this hideaway. i have to say it has very good thaifood and coming from me that says a lot. if im ever in town ill be by there to eat.

great thai food at a great price!. i have eaten at coconut thai grill several times since it's opening and have tried various items on the menu. i have nothing but great things to say about everything that i have tried from the pad thai to the coconut chicken which i believe is a creation by the owner. everything food, atmosphere, and the hospitality of the staff has been top rate. it is a very casual but social place. the staff will guide even the most novice like myself to a dish that will tantilze the pallet. not only are the main dishes exceptional, but the depth of appetizers as well as the desert options are fantastic. i plan on dining at coconut thai often!

a great new find of a restaurant.. i have gone to coconut thai grill a couple times in the last few weeks and i could not be more happy with everything that i have tried. i think the pad ki mow is the best in dallas. the service is great - the staff is super attentive. i highly recommend this restaurant.

deeelicious thai food !!!!. cozy, cool, contemporary decor. we visited the grill from work we had the fried calamari and sweet corn patty - i liked the coconut chicken and tangy papaya salad - we also tried the creme brulee and the thai custard with sweet rice which were heavenly... i will visit again with family...
