fun ambience, value, good food. we stumbled on this place looking for lunch in manassas on a saturday roam in the country. we've been back several times. food isn't fancy, but it's good and uncomplicated. we share the chili as an appetizer - it has a subtle kick. the primeribis reliably good, and it's hard to find primeribanywhere anymore, and not at these prices. service is generally efficient, and the kitchen is fast. this is the kind of dependable restaurant that would be wonderful to have right around the corner - just right for a friday night after a long work week, when you don't feel like cooking. thanks, city tavern!
