unique food, quaint spot!. this little coffee shop grabbed my husband's attention when we first searched for restaurants to try in st. louis. as a big crepe fan, it was a must for us, though i personally am not too fond of crepes.

parking here is tight and there is a meter, so bring quarters!

the food is a great price and has a great fresh taste. even though i do not usually like crepes, i ordered the fajita, with bell peppers, cheese, chicken, fresh avacado, and sour cream/tomatoes, and it was amazing! huge, too!

my husband ordered the provence, with brie cheese, grapes, strawberries, and buckwheat flour, and it was very fresh and light. he also ordered a chocolate mocha on ice, but be prepared as the coffee is strong.

this is a quaint little restaurant, the wait was not long and the glass patio was perfect for a cafe atmosphere!

delicious crepes. the crepes are terrific. i went recently with several friends and they all loved their crepes. the only one i tried was the raspberry beret, which had chunks of raspberries and melted white chocolate--so good. i was the only one of the group to get a sandwich, however, and was rather disappointed. the bread seemed stale and the sandwich just wasn't very impressive. so go for the crepes, skip the sandwiches.

very busy late on a sunday morning. you order at a counter, scramble to find a seat (as you can’t sit or reserve a table before ordering) and then wait for your food to be brought to you. food actually arrives fast. large assortment of savory and sweet crepes. i had the provence crepe-brie and walnuts with grapes and strawberries on top. thought it would be the perfect combo of sweet and savory but not sweet enough. walnuts need to be candied or something. worth the wait? probably not.

i cannot believe i never tried this place before. our experience was lovely. their menu selection is phenomenal with both sweet and savory options.
i must admit it made it harder to decide on what to get. it was a little crowded for a week day morning so i guess that's a good sign. the crepes were huge and bountiful. lots of flavor and generous amount of ingredients, everything was very satisfying. (gluten free batter is also available).

this is my favorite breakfast spot in st. louis. been here at least a dozen times and it's always amazing. the raspberry beret crepe is to die for! coffee is also top notch. the market salad is another favorite. line is often out the door, so plan accordingly.

never fails to impress. went back last week for pumpkin pie crepe - very yummy! filled with pumpkin and spices, served warm with whipped cream. went excellent with my coffee. also the manager went the extra mile to fanagle me a pound of the pumpkin spice coffee to take home. thank you! love this place! want to go back for pumpkin waffle before it's gone

best breakfast. i just love coming here, made two trips last weekend! i like to go with a friend so one of us can get a sweet crepe and the other more of a "meaty" crepe with chicken, ham, bacon, etc. southern pecan coffee is delicious, with free refills! only bad thing is this place is often quite busy, but that's expected with such delicious food! can't wait for my next date with the monte cristo!

didn't live up to the reviews.... i was recently in st. louis on a quick business trip and wanted to find a respectable cup of coffee. city coffee house popped up, had good reviews, and crepes so i was sold. the staff was very nice and the atmosphere charming but i found that the food and drink did not live up to their hype. my latte had over-frothed cappuccino style foam, the espresso was burnt and, even after adding honey, the drink left a lingering unpleasant taste in my mouth. the crepe menu was extensive (and i loved the chalk art style of it) but in practice the crepe was too thick for my liking... in france they are paper thin, delicate almost. this crepe, though still tasty, was much more akin to a thin pancake, denser and thicker that i'd have liked.

i would go back to try their other kinds of crepes but the coffee left me wanting and i would not get it again.

read the reviews and prepared by reading the website menu ahead of time. my husband and i ordered a savory and a sweet crepe and shared both. so delicious we came back the next two days of our trip to try other menu options. if you come in expecting it to be busy and know the service style then you can focus on the yummy food!
